NEWS CENTER – Kurdish youth carried out a civil disobedience action at Stuttgart’s Vaihingen University to draw attention to the war crimes committed by the Turkish state against Bashur Kurdistan.
The young people from Stuttgart made the following statement in front of the students;
“The Turkish state uses poison gas against Kurdish guerrillas in southern Kurdistan in northern Iraq and daily bombs civilian settlements in Rojava and Shengal. Young people of our age who stand up for women’s liberation, ecology and grassroots democracy are being brutally murdered. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is responsible for the control and destruction of chemical weapons.
We must show our solidarity against the complicity of the state. Women, young people, students and young people should take this into their own hands and see it as their own responsibility.”
The action ended with slogans.
