NEWS CENTER – Koma Amara, affiliated with the Women’s Culture and Art Movement Kevana Zêrîn, has prepared a new song called ‘Gerîla Me’, which she attributes to the PKK’s 50-year resistance. The clip of the song features sections from the life of the guerrilla, describes the PKK’s 50-year-old resistance and the guerrilla’s resistance in the mountains.
The preparation of the song, whose lyrics and composition belongs to Xwezan Harûn, has been done for 3 months. Koma Amara was founded in 2002. 4 pieces is a band that recreates songs from different dialects of Kurdistan. It also has songs composed for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, such as “Apo” and “Apê Me”.
