NEWS CENTER – Empty words without practice have no meaning in a war where life and death are at stake. Have no meaning in a war where the worst war crimes are committed every day against the struggle of freedom. Words have not lost their importance, but they are no longer decisive in a time in which the existence of the Kurdish struggle for freedom, the existence of the Kurdish people and with it the existence of the hope for freedom worldwide is at stake. What is decisive is the deed. This was the case at the beginning of the foundation of the PKK and it is still the case today.
It is easy to repeat certain words, to learn them by heart and to say them whenever one thinks that it is appropriate. But that is not what it is about. What is at stake is to put into practice the essence of what is repeated everywhere, with one’s practice, in one’s life, with one’s existence.
THE PROPAGANDA OF THE DEED
The deed has always been the greatest propaganda tool of the PKK, the true Apoyî, who sacrificed themselves for the struggle for freedom when it was necessary, who knew nothing but the struggle for freedom and merged in it completely without thinking about their own I, their EGO or their OWN life. Today the young women and men fight with the same self-sacrificing attitude in the free mountains of Kurdistan, so that exactly these free mountains of Kurdistan, remain free, so that the Kurdish people can exist also in the future and live their habitat under worthy, under free conditions. So that the one who has created this very philosophy of freedom can live in physical freedom and complete his work by giving the fascist enemy, the capitalist modernity the end they deserve and at the same time they constitute, the total destruction.
If the guerrillas were not fighting so sacrificially and determinedly on the free mountains, they would not be the source of strength and hope for their people and the freedom-seeking people worldwide. If the fallen had not sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom they would not be honored and remembered in all parts of the world, if thousands of young people would not follow in their footsteps and take on their legacy, their legacy of struggle.
If Chairman Rêber APO had only spoken but not given his language a corresponding practice, he would not be known all over the world today, he would not have been able to build such a big, strong and influential movement as the PKK, which has been waging a determined struggle with great sacrifices for 40 years with success.
The propaganda of the deed is precisely the propaganda that gives the corresponding truth to what is said. Without the deed, what is said is without content, a lie, a false statement, or even purposeful deception.
Şehid Sara and Şehid Rûken showed us with their deed what the current lineage is and must be. Thus they became goddesses of freedom and worthy of the memory of Zilan. For one thing must be stated, only those who fight can win something. Only who shows resistance, who is ready to risk something, who is not ready to accept the wrong, who dedicates his own life to what is right, can muster the faith, the courage and the power to change something. It is time to no longer be guided by what is said, but by what is done. It is time to finally give what is said the appropriate practice, so that what is said or was once said also corresponds to the truth.
It is time to no longer be deceived by any phrases, statements, but to let it come down to the practice.
It is easy to see that the international community is not sticking to what it promises. It is easy to see that what is said in the talk shows, political speeches, generally the state and capitalist media has little to do with the practice, with what people live day by day, with what is happening in truth. People know that they are lied to and deceived, but in times of liberalism they have resigned themselves to it in a state of absolute defeatism.
Children immediately recognize when adults do not tell the truth. Young people recognize when attempts are made to deceive them. Because they know the reality that surrounds them, if they are alert and do not let themselves be distracted from reality by the practice of special war, in order not to have to face the truth.
In general, people know the reality, know about the destruction of their livelihood, of the planet, of nature, of society, of hope for life. That is why so many people draw hope from the struggle that has brought the most cruel and inhumane gangs to their knees in Rojava and made women, who in 5,000 years have been relegated to the weakest link in society, the most powerful and determined pioneers of a revolution that has left a worldwide impact.
That is why people everywhere are now shouting “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” because they see the fighting women in Rojhilat Kurdistan leading the masses and standing up against a system of rule that is one of the oldest regimes in the world and has responded with brutal massacres to every rebellion, every uprising, every voice for freedom and hope so far.
That is why so many draw hope and strength from the writings of Rêber APO who has been maintaining an invincible ideological resistance for more than 24 years in the hands of the imperialist and fascist enemy in order to liberate his people, his homeland and with it humanity and to protect the heritage of the fallen.
For this reason, the Kurdish people, despite the centuries-long massacres, have never stopped rebelling, have not been silent, have never allowed themselves to be broken and have always rebuilt and rebuilt themselves from the bloodiest battlefields and ruins.
It is time to correctly recognize the current situation, not to be deceived and to go with erect head, straight step into the complete resistance against the systems of destruction, massacres and slavery. With every word, with every deed, with every thought, with every second of one’s life, with every cell to strengthen the fire of revenge for all the destruction and annihilation, the fire of love and hope, the fire of vanguard of the youth and young women with thousands of sparks.
Because without fire we perish in the dark, without fire we freeze to death from the cold of the capitalist system, without fire the hope for the future goes out. The fire is the youth, but fire does not keep itself alive with words, fire needs the corresponding practice…
