QAMISHLO – Thousands of residents of Qamişlo canton took to the streets to condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on North and East Syria and the chemical weapons attacks against freedom guerrillas in the Defense Zones of Media. On the 18th of this October, the NPG revealed the identities of 17 guerrillas who were martyred by the invading Turkish state’s chemical weapons in Zap, Avaşin, Metina in South Kurdistan.

The march started with the slogan “Don’t be accomplices to our murder and occupation of our territory”. Thousands of residents of Qamishlo canton participated in the march.

The march started from the Farmers Circle to the headquarters of the Russian forces at the Qamishlo airport. In the march, pictures of martyrs, pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan and banners “Genocide crimes continue because of your silence” and “Your silence is killing us” were carried.

The march in front of the Russian center near the airport in Qamishlo turned into a rally. There, the executive member of Kongra Star Şeha Xelil spoke and pointed out the attempts of the occupying Turkish state to invade the territory of Syria and said: “Through the war against the North and East of Syria and Syria in general, the Turkish state tried through its attacks In the name of Jabhat Al Nusra, ISIS and other gangs occupy the territory of Syria.

Sheha Khalil informed that with the struggle of the people of North and East Syria and the resistance of his military forces, all the attacks on the territory of Syria were defeated and he said: “Russia and the United States cooperated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) several years ago on the basis of protecting the territory. Syria signed an agreement to establish a democratic solution for its crisis, but Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî were handed over to the occupying Turkish state in which they used all chemical weapons in front of their eyes and to this day the Turkish occupation continues its crimes against makes up our people.”

“GUERILLA PROTECTS OUR EXISTENCE”

Sheha Khalil addressed Russia and continued: “You are partners of the Turkish state with your silence against the crimes against our people. Also, just like a few years ago, Saddam Hussein was executed for his crimes and the use of chemical weapons against Halabja, the end of Erdogan will also be in the hands of the resistance of our people.”

Şeha Xelil drew attention to the chemical attacks of the occupying Turkish state against the guerillas in the Media Defense Zones of Southern Kurdistan and said: “Despite the silence of the international community, the prohibited chemical weapons against our girls and boys are the guarantee of all crises. are used in the Middle East.” He added to his statement: “Existence depends on the existence of guerrillas. Therefore, we will support them until the end. They protect us and guarantee our success. The international community should close the airspace of Northern and Eastern Syria and clarify its position against the crimes of the Turkish state.”

On behalf of the Arab group, the representative of the Beni Sabe tribes Hisên El Sade condemned the international silence against the attacks of the occupying Turkish army on the territory of Syria and said: “The silence of the international community is killing us. The Turkish state and its terrorist gangs, from Jabhat Al Nusra to Ahrar Al Sharqiyah and ISIS, have destroyed our country. Even today, chemical weapons are used against guerrillas who believed in the cause of their people.”

Regarding the goals of the international forces and their silence regarding the crimes and violations of the Turkish state, El Sade said the following: “They are silent because of their objections. The Turkish state has already used chemical weapons in Syria and invaded our territory. In Shengal, ISIS used it against the Yezidi community and massacred it. Today, he is once again attacking the Defense Zones of Media with chemical weapons.”

El Sade concluded his speech as follows: “The Turkish state is trying to achieve the National Liberation by occupying additional areas from Syria and Iraq. But we reject it, we will protect our territory and remove the Turkish state from it. That’s why the international community must end these chemical attacks.”

Finally, the People’s Initiative of North and East Syria delivered a message to the Russian forces, including the crimes and violations of the Turkish state against the people of North and East Syria and the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan, as well as calling on the international forces to fulfill their duties.
