ŞEHBA – The People’s Defense Center Decision Command has revealed the identity of 17 guerrillas who were martyred in the attack with chemical weapons by the occupying Turkish state. The command of the NPG stated that chemical attacks have increased due to the silence and support of international organizations. At the same time, NPG said in its statement; “The Turkish army continues its war crimes in the area of Shikefta Birindara, Karker, Werxele, Hill Hakkari, Hill FM, Hill Cudi, Hill Amêdi and in the villages of Sîda and Chemço. If there is no strong protest against the murderous AKP and MHP regime and the Turkish army, these war crimes will continue. In the past days, 9 of our friends were martyred in the Birindara cave area of Zap, 5 in the Karkere area and 3 of our friends were martyred in the Werxel area of Avashin in the attacks with banned bombs and chemical weapons.”
On this basis, the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union of the Afrin-Sehba region took to the streets and demonstrated their positions against the use of chemical weapons and all prohibited weapons against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas.
The Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union of Afrin-Sehba region condemned all the attacks against the guerrillas with a mass march in the city of Fafin.
In the march, Zelal Ebdo spoke on behalf of the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union. Zelal first remembered all the martyrs of the Kurdistan freedom revolution in the person of 17 martyrs who were martyred by chemical weapons attacks.
At the same time, Zelal drew attention to the war crimes committed by the brutal Turkish state with the support of NATO forces in the mountains of Kurdistan and said; “The occupying Turkish state has been carrying out attacks with chemical weapons against the guerrillas in the Media Defense Zone for 8 months, and it has not taken any steps forward.”
Zelal again expressed the resistance against this brutality and said; “For 50 years, the resistance has been going on under the leadership of Leader Apo and the Kurdistan Liberation Movement. That’s why no one can defeat our will. We see these attacks against the guerrillas as against us. Because the guerrillas are also children of this land. As guerrillas, we will fight until our last breath.”
Also, in his speech, Zelal Ebdo called on all the young people of Kurds and Kurdistan not to remain silent against this brutality and genocide, to join the resistance in any way and lighten the burden of the guerrilla and said; “This war is not only a guerrilla war, it is a war against the existence and identity of the Kurdish people and Kurdistan. For this reason, it is the duty of all of us not to leave this war only to the guerrillas. It is necessary for everyone, especially the youth, to play their leading role and fight with guerrillas against the occupation.”
The march of the youth ended with the chanting of slogans.
