NEWS CENTER – After the Second World War, i.e. in 1945, when 90 million people lost their lives as a result of that war, the attackers did not recognize any laws or standards in these wars, for this the world became a field of anarchy where everyone can run their own horse. It doesn’t matter who died or what they used to achieve their goals, this opportunity to do everything for the occupation put the world at risk of extinction. From weapons of mass destruction to biological and nuclear weapons were used.

After the world war, in 1997, at the international level, 193 countries signed an agreement to ban chemical weapons. In this agreement, biological, nuclear and chemical weapons were banned in general. Not only its use until acquisition and construction was also prohibited. But the invaders have used this weapon against the Kurds hundreds of times against the people of Kurdistan, this weapon was used in Halabja in 1988, and nearly 5000 Kurds were victims, most of them were children. Despite this, there was no international response. The occupying Turkish state has used this prohibited weapon hundreds of times and violated international laws that Turkey itself has signed.

On April 23, 2021, the occupying Turkish state launched an occupation movement on Metina, Zap and Avashin. With the support of NATO technology, the use of his guards and mercenaries, and with the cooperation of traitors like the PDK, he wanted to promote the destruction attacks and liquidation of the guerrillas and the destruction of the Kurdish people in the person of the guerrillas. But the girls and boys of this land did not allow the invaders and forced them to retreat in some places. After the brutal Turkish state was left with no choice in the eyes of the world, it resorted to chemical and banned weapons. The freedom fighters who take their place in this war against the occupation, have identified all the war crimes of the occupying state one by one. In the documents that the guerrillas share with the public, it can be seen that chemical weapons of the 4 most dangerous and prohibited types were used against the guerrillas.

One of the gases used is Tabon Gas;

Tabon is a substance that has neither color nor taste, it is a very poisonous substance, and it smells of fruits, this substance is listed in the context of substances that affect the nerves. It is also a chemical substance. It has been recognized by the United Nations as a chemical weapon of mass destruction. According to United Nations resolution 687, tabon gas belongs to the series of gases that have the most effect on the nerves, which is called the G series, that is, gases like (TABON, SERİN, SOMAN, ALFE-X) take their place in it. This gas was manufactured in Germany and was captured by the occupying Turkish state during the Second World War. A person who is affected by this gas will experience convulsions, temporary paralysis and increased heart rate, as well as watery mouth, this gas will stop breathing the most and the person will lose consciousness and lose their memory and even die.

Green Cross gas;

The second type of gas used by the brutal Turkish state is Red Cross gas. Green cross was used in the First World War and consists of chloropicrin and phoscine. And medically, phosgene gas is known for its toxicity.
It smells like fresh herbs or fresh grass. Green Cross gas is a mixture of phoscine gas, phosgene being a useful chemical warfare agent. Due to its easy production requirements, it was first used as a chemical weapon by the French in 1915 in the First World War. It has also been used in a mixture with an equal volume of chlorine, the chlorine helping to further disperse the phosgene. Phosgene is a stronger gas than chlorine although its symptoms appear for 24 hours or longer, but the symptoms that appear directly, for its direct effects, it affects the coughing and deepening of the eyes and respiratory tract. This type of gas is classified as a prohibited chemical weapon by the United Nations.

The third type is Mustard Gas;

The third type Mustard gas (also known as “sulphur mustard”) is a chemical compound, belonging to a class of organic compounds called Siolates, a liquid that emits a dangerous vapor, and causes burns to exposed skin. Mustard gas is harmful to the respiratory system, causes vomiting and diarrhea when ingested, and damages the eyes, lungs, skin, and organs where blood forms.
