NEWS CENTER – In the Italian city of Pisa, in Tuscany and in Catania in Sicily, internationalist friends of Kurdistan’s women’s freedom struggle have taken a stand against the assassination of Nagîhan Akarsel and have provided the streets and public squares with appropriate posters and banners.
The Italian friends explained: “In Silêmanî, in southern Kurdistan, in Iraq, Nagihan Akarsel, the great voice of the Jineolojî, was murdered by a state attack. Targeted attacks by the Turkish state against women are increasing, but this will only increase our anger and organization.
In Kurdistan, in Iran, in Afghanistan, women are taking the streets, squares, their own voice and history to create a different world where freedom is commonplace and revolutionary.
