NEWS CENTER – PKK Executive Committee made a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the October 9 Conspiracy. The PKK said, “We are entering the 25th year of the October 9, 1998 international plot against Leader Apo. We have been experiencing the fascist-genocide attacks that have been continuing for 24 years at the level of conspiracy and the most meaningful resistance in history against these attacks. First of all, we condemn the international conspiracy, one of the most brutal attacks in history, and the conspiratorial forces that carried out these attacks. We respectfully salute Leader Apo and the historical Imrali Resistance, who over the last 24 years has destroyed the conspiracy with a superhuman resistance and defeated the conspiracy forces, rendering the symbol of the conspiracy the Imrali torture and isolation system inoperative. Starting with comrades Halit Oral and Aynur Artan, who formed a circle of fire around Leader Apo with the motto “You Can’t Darken Our Sun”, today Sara Goyi, We commemorate all our heroic martyrs, including comrades Ruken Zelal and Nagihan Akarsel, with respect, love and gratitude. We wish great success to our patriotic people and our democratic friends, who have fought and defeated the conspiracy with great courage and self-sacrifice in the footsteps of Leader Apo for 24 years!” said.
“As it is known, the international conspiracy attack aimed at the destruction of Leader Apo was planned and carried out by the capitalist modernity forces led by the USA, England and Israel,” said the PKK statement. The result of the Third World War, which they wanted to lead to success with an international conspiracy, was to turn the world into a bloodbath and keep it alive in the balance of nuclear terror, as is the case in Ukraine today. We invite these forces, on the 24th anniversary of the conspiracy, to correctly evaluate the catastrophic results they have uncovered, to correct their mistakes and to make amends for the crimes they have committed,” it said.

It is very clear that what we have done in 24 years is the mirror of what we will do against the international conspiracy in the 25th year. As always, the historical Imrali Resistance and Leader Apo’s stance in the 25th year illuminates our path and teaches us how to resist and win against the international conspiracy attack in the 25th year. WE CALL KURDISH YOUTH TO FIGHT IN THE FOLLOWS OF SARA AND RUKEN Comrades
Especially the sacrifice action of comrades Sara and Ruken in Mersin shook the foundations of the fascist AKP-MHP regime; By revealing that Leader Apo will be defended in Zilan, he once again clarified the style of the struggle against the torture and isolation system in Imrali. By unmasking the fascist special war regime of the AKP-MHP, it has shown everyone the fact that it is collapsing. We salute this historic action that gave hope and encouragement to the friend while crushing the enemy, congratulate all the commanders and warriors of HPG and YJA-Star, who successfully carried out such an action, and once again commemorate with respect and gratitude the comrades Sara and Ruken, who managed to defend Leader Apo in Zilan. We want everyone to see that all Kurdish youth and young women are now Sara and Ruken on the back of the AKP-MHP fascism.
AKP-MHP fascism must have been so shaken by the Mersin protest that, in retaliation for this alleged act, Comrade Nagihan Akarsel, who was working at the Jineology Research Center in Sulaymaniyah, was brutally murdered on the morning of 4 October. With this, he allegedly tried to intimidate and frighten Kurdish women who became self-sacrificing in Mersin and rose to serhildan in Rojhilat Kurdistan. However, with this attitude, she showed how afraid she was of the women’s freedom struggle and its self-sacrificing guerrilla leadership. However, fear is of no use. No matter how invader, massacrer and aggressor, AKP-MHP fascism will drown in the blood it has spilled and will collapse soon. Undoubtedly, this collapse will be on the basis of the women’s struggle, especially the Kurdish women’s struggle.

Here, once again, we commemorate comrade Nagihan Akarsel, a revolutionary Kurdish woman who deeply absorbed the Apoist spirit of freedom and thought, with respect and love. We call on all young people and workers, especially Kurdish women, to understand the truth of Nagihan Akarsel correctly and to follow in his footsteps to achieve his goals. It is very clear that the Sulaymaniyah massacre requires us to dwell on it and draw the right lessons. First of all, it reveals the reality of the fascist-genocidal enemy and that he can carry out all kinds of despicable attacks. So, we must know the reality of this enemy well and engage in a planned and organized struggle against it. LET’S SUPPORT THE DEMANDS OF THE IRAN SOCIETY FOR FREEDOM
On the eve of the 24th anniversary of the international conspiracy, historical developments have been taking place in Rojhilat Kurdistan and throughout Iran for about three weeks. After the murder of the young Kurdish woman, Jina Eminî, by the state forces, the freedom movement started by women has spread all over Iran and social segments. Rojhilat Kurdistan and Iranian society is experiencing a revolutionary and libertarian take-off worthy of its history. This situation has deeply affected everyone, especially the Iranian administration. While the male-dominated reactionary mentality and politics experienced great fear, all libertarian forces gained great enthusiasm and excitement, and it was clearly seen that a new world of free life was developing in women’s freedom.
Undoubtedly, these developments are of great importance not only for Rojhilat Kurdistan and Iran, but also for the entire Middle East and humanity. Already, the cries for freedom from Iran spread all over the world and received support from all democratic circles, especially women. It is understood that this situation will continue in some way and create lasting results in Kurdistan, Iran and the Middle East. There is no doubt that women’s and Iranian society’s demands for freedom are extremely just and legitimate. We call on everyone to support these just and legitimate demands. We invite the current Iranian Administration to take into account the legitimate demands of women and Iranian society, without resorting to any excuses and clinging to the discourse of “foreign powers”, to solve the problems on the basis of dialogue and negotiations with the representatives of the people, and never to use violence against the peoples who are waging a legitimate struggle.
OUR GUERILLA’S HERO RESISTANCE IS TO ILLUMINATE THE PATH TO VICTORY
