MERİVAN – Merîvan Apoist Youth published a statement declaring that they support the freedom guerrillas in the four parts of Kurdistan.
Merîvan’s statement of the Apoist youth is as follows:
“After the Treaty of Lausanne and the emergence of new nation-states in the Middle East, the Kurdish people have been oppressed by the sovereign nation-states in Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Syria for a century. The occupying forces used all kinds of new and forbidden weapons against the Kurdish people to physically liquidate and assimilate them. The massacre with German phosphorus weapons in Dersim in Northern Kurdistan… Zerdesht in Rojhilat and Halabja in Bashur are witnesses of this fact. The invading Turkish state, helpless in the face of the strength and courage of the freedom guerrillas, is doing everything to prevent the people in Turkey from seeing this. In recent days, a group of self-sacrificing guerrillas have been exposed to chemical weapons by the bloodthirsty Erdogan and his regime. Condolences to their families, comrades and comrades in arms,
On behalf of the Rojhilat Apoist Youth, we convey our revolutionary greetings to the resistance guerrillas in Avasin, Zap, Metin and all other regions that resisted the occupation with steely courage.
We condemn the Erdogan regime and the traitors of Kurdistan, especially the KDP, for their support of the fascist Turkish state. We call on all human rights organizations in Europe and the world not to remain silent about this injustice and state that all Kurdish parties should take a stand by breaking their silence.
We, as Apoist youth from Rojhilat and Merivan, declare that we will fight until the last moment of our lives to realize the dreams of the martyrs of the freedom movement.
