NEWS CENTER – Dr. Sirwan was born in 1964 in Chamyala village of Sharbazher area of Sulaimani
In 1984, Dr. Sirwan was forced to move abroad. After spending more than a year and a half in East Kurdistan and Iran, he gained a thorough knowledge of our people in that part of the country and was familiar with Iranian society and Persian language
In late 1985, he moved to Western Europe and settled in Denmark. After a while, he became acquainted with national, humanitarian and progressive thought. He soon became involved in the study of articles and writings about the past, present and future of our people. He became the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and actively engaged in relentless struggle in his countries Scandinavian countries and because of the need to work tirelessly tries to learn European languages and learns English, Swedish and Danish. For three years, he worked in the media, raising public awareness, organizing and even collecting aid. Dr. Sirwan was an example of a revolutionary, patriotic and patient personality in Europe. He did not stop working in Europe and returned to the field of struggle in the Middle East in the late 1980s. After completing the education courses, he should be allowed to convey the experience and guidelines of the presidency to the members and cadres of the PKK and our people.
Along with his political and organizational work in the field of relations, Dr. Sirwan constantly worked to unite Kurdish forces and movements in South Kurdistan. He made continuous efforts to end the civil war and eliminate foreign intervention. He linked the civil war to the low level of consciousness of Kurdish parties and organizations and their reliance on foreign forces.
It was because of his revolutionary and national positions that he became the target of the conservatives and their backwardness until on 4/10/1996 in the village of Qala Choghai Say Karimi of Aghjaler area as a result of a planned conspiracy was attacked by PDK fighters Haji Qamishloyi, Agid Garmyani, Baban Halo and Dialan Mardini were martyred.
The martyr leader did not live to die, but was always ready to welcome death for the sake of a valuable life for his people, country and humanity.
He believed in the concept of continuous revolution, that a revolutionary’s life during and after the revolution should be the same, and saw this as a guarantee of preserving achievements. That is why he lived very simply and never pursued his own needs and private life. This alone did not make sense. It was the contemplation of the surroundings. Martyr Dr. Sirwan embodied another concept of struggle in his personality.
Martyr Dr. Sirwan was martyred for his great faith in the legitimate cause of his people and the victory of his people.
