MARSEILLES – The commemoration held at Marseilles DTM started with a minute’s silence for the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution. At the commemoration, there was a cine-vision showing the life of martyr Çekdar. A martyr’s corner was prepared for Martyr Çekdar in the center. The commemoration ended with the slogans of “Martyr are immortals” and “Biji Serok Apo”
Our comrade Çekdar was born and grew up in a patriotic family and environment in the Seyhan district of Adana. The life of our comrade Çekdar, who had the opportunity to get to know the PKK due to the patriotism of his family and environment, has been shaped according to the criteria of patriotism since his childhood. Due to the poor economic situation of his family, our comrade Çekdar, who both works and studies, supported his family financially and morally. He had a personality that fulfilled his responsibilities in life at an early age and struggled without avoiding any difficulties. Our comrade Çekdar, who witnessed the inhuman attacks of the colonialist genocidal Turkish state against the Kurdish people, sought a struggle to counter these attacks as a patriotic Kurdish youth. Comrade Çekdar, who was at the forefront of youth work during these periods, also developed an active struggle against the destruction that the enemy wanted to create in society in the person of women and youth. Comrade Çekdar, who developed a successful practice during these periods, also pioneered many of his comrades. Seeing that the fascist Turkish state is brutalizing its attacks against the Kurdish people day by day, and witnessing this almost every day, our comrade Çekdar realized that responding requires a greater struggle. Our comrade Çekdar, who sees that the biggest struggle and the biggest blow to be dealt against this mentality that sees prison or death for every unyielding Kurd, is in the mountains of freedom of Kurdistan.
Our comrade Çekdar, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2019, has adapted to guerrilla life without difficulty with the patriotic culture he received from his family, the level of awareness he gained in the works and his fighting personality. Our comrade Çekdar has managed to become a comrade who is loved and respected by his comrades with his laboring personality since the first day he joined. Our comrade Çekdar, who made good use of the training of the new warriors he received and brought his hatred and anger towards the enemy to consciousness, went into practice with this awareness. As in his life before joining the guerrilla, he maintained and developed his personality that took responsibility in the guerrilla. Comrade Çekdar, who is respected by his comrades with this stance, has approached every task he undertakes with this sense of responsibility and has always worked for the principle of absolute success. own savings, Comrade Çekdar, who developed it with the strength he received from ideological training, tried to understand the Leadership Philosophy, which he read, learned and concentrated on, and was in an effort to make it vital. Our comrade Çekdar, who was not limited to self-development ideologically, has also improved himself militarily and has developed important skills to become a professional guerrilla.

Comrade Çekdar, who is always sought after by his comrades with his energy in life, was able to put this energy into practice in the actions he participated in. Our comrade Çekdar took a self-sacrificing stance in life and war without any worries. We, comrades, reiterate our promise to further enlarge this legacy left by our comrade Çekdar and bring it to victory.
