NEWS CENTER – Iraqi Parliament Security and Defense Committee Member Hadi Amirli stated that they have received information that Turkey is using chemical and banned weapons.
While the echoes of the HPG’s statements and the published images about the invading Turkish state’s use of chemical weapons in the Medya Defense Zones continue. Hadi Amirli, a member of the Iraqi Parliament’s Security and Defense Committee, said, “We are closely following the Turkish state’s attacks on settlements in southern Iraq. We have received information that Turkey is using banned and chemical weapons. This is against the principle of neighborliness and against international law,” it said.
Amirli also announced that a special commission would be established by the Iraqi Parliament to determine the chemical weapons used by Turkey, which are prohibited under international law.
