The KCK General Presidency Council made a written statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the October 9 Conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The KCK said, “Twenty-four years have passed since the international conspiracy developed against the Kurdish people and the struggle for existence in the person of Leader Apo. We condemn and curse the October 9 international conspiracy, which has passed twenty-four years behind, once again with all our animosity and hatred. We state that we will never bow to any conspiratorial approach being developed against the Kurdish people and the struggle for existence.
Our Hero Martyrs, who made themselves a shield from fire with the slogan “You Can’t Darken Our Sun” around Leader Apo in order to protest the October 9 international conspiracy and prevent it from reaching its dirty goals; We commemorate the comrades Halit Oral, Selamet Menteş and Aynur Artan once again, and bow with respect and gratitude before their memories.”
WE WELCOME LEADER APO, WHO RESISTED TO THE ABSOLUTE INSULATION SYSTEM AND TORTURE
The statement of the KCK General Presidency Council stated:
“We salute Leader Apo, who has resisted Imrali’s conditions of captivity and the absolute isolation system and torture with a high will power and extraordinary intellectual productivity for the past 24 years since the international conspiracy.
As the international capitalist hegemonic powers, led by the USA, were preparing to enter the 21st century with the Greater Middle East Project, they saw Leader Apo and the Kurdish freedom struggle led by the PKK as the biggest obstacle to their own capitalist, modernist and imperialist interests. Because they had already seen and determined that the Free Kurdishness led by Leader Apo had the potential to influence the entire Middle East. The Kurds were divided among the four main countries of the Middle East, and the PKK-led Kurdish Freedom Struggle succeeded in drawing the Kurds in all four countries into an important stance of struggle. Kurds, armed with a sense of freedom in the four parts of Kurdistan and abroad, They did not want to spend another century without a Leader and without status, and on this basis, they embraced Leader Apo and the Freedom Struggle without hesitation. They showed all kinds of support and participation in the struggle. They were gradually becoming the biggest dynamic of change and transformation in favor of democracy and freedom values in the Middle East. The aim of the capitalist hegemonic powers, led by the USA, with the international conspiracy that started on October 9, was to eliminate this new Free Kurdish will, which was increasingly playing a central role in the Middle East. For this purpose, they set up the international conspiracy loom in a very dirty cooperation. They did not hesitate to make all kinds of concessions among themselves to make it happen. Because, as they want, they can easily seize a Middle East where the Kurdish Freedom Struggle has been ended and liquidated,
While the regional aims of the October 9 International Conspiracy are in this form, the most basic aim for the Kurds is; Just like in the 20th century, it was to leave the Kurds without an Identity, Leadership and Status in the new century we have entered. It was to make the Kurdish people lose another century just because they did not submit to the capitalist hegemonic world system and did not give up their will to fight against the colonialist genocidal Turkish policy of destruction and denial.
However, at the current stage; Thanks to Leader Apo’s new and unique understanding of resistance, intellectual creativity and productivity, the high level of ownership of our patriotic people and the unyielding will of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, these dirty aims of the international conspiracy were foiled and prevented from reaching its goal. On the contrary, in this twenty-four-year period that passed over the conspiracy; a more conscious and organized public reality, a more professional guerrilla style and a mature level of partisanship, political consciousness and practicality emerged. As a result of all these, the national and social gains of the Kurdish people have been enlarged during this twenty-four-year struggle period and have succeeded in attaining a democratic perspective.
However, the comprehensive aims of the conspiracy, which has been nullified, are being updated in various ways by the conspiratorial forces, and they are tried to be carried out in different ways and methods. The current state of the international conspiracy is trying to perpetuate itself in many areas. The fact that Leader Apo was held in the position of “hostage” in the Imrali torture chamber and under torture in absolute isolation is a current dimension of the conspiracy to be continued. While the gates of Imrali are kept closed, the Kurds are deprived of their Leadership; On the other hand, a historical problem such as the Kurdish problem, which is Turkey’s biggest and main problem, is kept in a deadlock policy, preventing Turkey from entering the democratization process.
LEADER APO’S CASE IS THE CASE OF THE CENTURY
Leader Apo’s case is the case of the Century and its solution will be the solution of the Century. The resolution of such a historical case, which has left its mark on a century, is of course impossible without revolutionary struggle. However, the political and legal grounds opened up by the revolutionary struggle also need to be evaluated very strongly. As our people and the democratic public follow, the legal basis for the physical freedom of Leader Apo has now emerged. According to international law, the punishment imposed on our Leader is about to be completed. However, the anti-Kurdish colonialist, genocidal fascist Erdoğan-Bahçeli regime is engaged in a great legal conspiracy in this regard. They are trying to establish the law of unlawfulness by incessantly giving our Leader disciplinary punishments that have no material basis. They weave it a little tighter every day, just like a spider’s web. Their aim is to prolong the “hostage” situation on our Leader and the conditions of captivity forever. In order to make this possible, they do not even inform their lawyers to prevent the so-called disciplinary punishments they have given our Leader from being challenged. In this way, they aim to nullify the “violation” decision of the ECtHR regarding the “aggravated life imprisonment” sentence specially developed by the Turkish courts for Leader Apo. Along with the Absolute Isolation that continues against our Leader, everyone should see the reality of this legal conspiracy being implemented, and every kind of struggle should be developed to prevent it. Since this situation continues in this way against the law, against human rights and democracy; as well as international conspiratorial forces, The Council of Europe, to which structures such as the ECHR and the CPT are affiliated, is also responsible. The Council of Europe should do its part and respond to the expectations of the Kurdish people within the framework of the principles of Human Rights, Democracy and Justice.
GLOBAL OWNERSHIP IS DEVELOPING
Leader Apo overcame the tortured captivity conditions in Imrali with the power of free thought and developed a new democratic ecological woman libertarian society paradigm and presented it to both the Kurdish people and all the oppressed and exploited peoples of the Middle East and the world. This new world of ideas and thoughts, which Leader Apo lived and revealed in his own person, is almost a liberation program for the peoples of the Middle East and the world, especially the Kurds and the peoples of Kurdistan. This tremendous level of thought that he revealed under the torture of absolute isolation and many years ago turns into a great level of ownership and embrace as it is translated into different languages and appropriated to peoples and democratic humanity. The friends of the Kurdish people have increased on this basis during the twenty-four years we have spent. It develops as a very valuable and very meaningful friendship and fraternity relationship with both the peoples of the Middle East and various peoples in Europe and many parts of the world. Because the democratic peace and brotherhood relationship that Leader Apo wants to develop between peoples, beliefs and cultures, and the relationship with Democratic Modernity are starting to produce new values for humanity, democracy and freedom. It is beginning to be accepted as the only way to get rid of the social and vital crises caused by the statist, ruling system in which the capitalist capitalist ideology has built itself as the nation state and industrialism. As this reality emerges, the level of global ownership and demand for Leader Apo’s freedom develops in parallel with it. In recent years, the freedom to the Leader efforts, led by various labor organizations and unions and supported globally by leading intellectuals, writers, academics, artists, lawyers, feminists, ecologists, anti-capitalists and anarchists, have revealed an important level. KURDISTAN FREEDOM GUERILLA RESISTS WITH THE STRENGTH AND MORALE IT GETS FROM LEADERSHIP
Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla; getting its basic ideological, philosophical and organizational food from Leader Apo; Thanks to his determined struggle and sharp will, he has been the main force preventing the success of the international conspiracy in the past twenty-four years. He is connected to Leader Apo with an unbreakable bond and sees him as his main moral center. The freedom guerrilla continues to show its strength and will to resist under all conditions, thanks to the strength, morale and consciousness it received from the Leader. The colonialist genocidal Turkish occupying army is using inhuman ways and methods against the Kurdistan Guerrilla in an unprecedented way. He brutally uses all NATO’s war resources he has against our guerrilla forces. Since last year, it has been using chemical and poisonous gases against our guerrilla forces, which it cannot intimidate with the latest NATO technology it has. Seeing that it could not achieve full results with chemical and poisonous gases and that the unprecedented resistance continues, now it has added tactical nuclear weapons and thermobaric weapons to these. All these inhumane ways and methods used against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla are war crimes. They are crimes against humanity. The balance sheet of these war crimes committed by the colonialist, genocidal and invading Turkish army is shared with the public daily by our People’s Defense Center. The account of these war crimes is being asked one by one on a daily basis and will continue to be asked. Let no one doubt that. Our comrades Martyr Sara and Martyr Rûken carried out a revolutionary operation in the form of a self-deprecator against the colonial police station in the Mezitli district of Mersin, and punished dozens of war criminals. This revolutionary operation carried out by our Martyr Sara and Martyr Rûken comrades is an extremely successful and accurate action carried out along the lines of Zilan and Agit. It has produced very serious results in terms of ideological, political and military and gave serious messages. We salute with great respect the successful sacrifices of our comrades Martyr Sara and Martyr Rûken, which were carried out in the process close to the anniversary of the international conspiracy. The professional self-deprecating action style of these comrades also revealed very clearly what the stance should be in the face of the conspiracy. He literally guided professional mobile and autonomous guerrilla units. It has proven once again that at the center of all developments in Kurdistan is the strong will and determined stance of the Freedom Guerrilla.
