NEWS CENTER – The colonialist Turkish state, led by the AKP-MHP, is committing war crimes as a special war government by disregarding international laws in their invasion attacks in southern Kurdistan. They are practicing a terrible state terror against the Kurdish people and all forces fighting for freedom, innocent people and against civilians. On October 18, 2022, the headquarters of the People’s Defense Forces (NPG) published the identities of 17 guerrillas killed by chemical weapons attacks by the Turkish occupying Şehid state. The NPG command made it clear that due to the silence and international support, the chemical weapons attacks have been intensified.
Our agency has been constantly publishing the videos, reports and information related to the war crimes of the Turkish fascist state and from the perspective of remembering the heroes of this historic resistance, we will be publishing about the 17 martyred guerrillas over the next few days in order to remember their struggles, their conviction with the revolution and Serokatî and denounce such war crimes. One of these 17 fallen guerrillas is Heval Delal Şoreş who has been active in the youth works for a while and then joined the YJA Star forces. In October this year, she was killed in the Zap resistance area due to the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupying soldiers.
RUKSEN ZAGROS
Şehîd Ruksen was born in the city of Qamishlo, which led the Rojava Freedom Revolution, and grew up in a patriotic family and environment. Growing up in an environment where the culture of resistance is alive, our comrade had the chance to get to know our struggle early. Witnessing the reality of the female guerrillas who fought selflessly for the freedom of our people and our country, Şehîd Ruksen began to take a great interest in the philosophy of Leader Apo. As a Kurdish woman, our comrade, who joined the ranks of the struggle against the genocidal attacks against our people with the Rojava Freedom Revolution, fought in the areas where the war was most acute and gained a strong experience in practice.
Şehîd Ruksen, who successfully completed the basic guerrilla training she received, was a guerrilla for a long time in the field of Metîna. She had strong life and comradely relations, has achieved a rapid development with her feature of constantly learning and transferring what she has learned into practice. Şehîd Ruksen, who moved to Zap with her life and guerrilla experience, adapted to this field in a short time and gained a strong practice as expected. Şehîd Ruksen, who has worked in every inch of Zap, has always stood at the front with her energetic and selfless personality and has been a source of strength for all her comrades. Our comrade, who developed her comrades while improving herself, participated in life without account, and constantly improved herself in the military field as well as in the ideological field, had a pioneering militant practice. Şehîd Ruksen, who was one of the pioneers of the resistance that developed in the face of the invasion attacks and actively participated in the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, took her place at the forefront of many actions that dealt heavy blows to the invaders. Şehîd Ruksen, who participated in life and war militantly and never compromised on the line of resistance and victory, became immortal by reaching martyrdom in the chemical weapons attacks carried out by the enemy.
