NEWS CENTER – The colonialist Turkish state, led by the AKP-MHP, is committing war crimes as a special war government by disregarding international laws in their invasion attacks in southern Kurdistan. They are practicing a terrible state terror against the Kurdish people and all forces fighting for freedom, innocent people and against civilians. On October 18, 2022, the headquarters of the People’s Defense Forces (NPG) published the identities of 17 guerrillas killed by chemical weapons attacks by the Turkish occupying Şehid state. The NPG command made it clear that due to the silence and international support, the chemical weapons attacks have been intensified.
Our agency has been constantly publishing the videos, reports and information related to the war crimes of the Turkish fascist state and from the perspective of remembering the heroes of this historic resistance, we will be publishing about the 17 martyred guerrillas over the next few days in order to remember their struggles, their conviction with the revolution and Serokatî and denounce such war crimes. One of these 17 fallen guerrillas is Heval Delal Şoreş who has been active in the youth works for a while and then joined the YJA Star forces. In October this year, she was killed in the Zap resistance area due to the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupying soldiers.

Our comrade Mawa was born in Muş to a patriotic family. He grew up in a patriotic family and environment that participated in the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and paid a price in the struggle to liberate Kurdistan. Our comrade Mawa has known and been interested in our movement and our struggle against the occupation since she was a child. Our comrade Mawa, who acquired patriotic features, did not remain indifferent to the revolutionary process in Kurdistan in Îdir, where she went to study at university. She realized the mission of youth, especially women, and joined youth work in 2013. She has successfully fulfilled her duties in youth work. She expanded her struggle in 2014 by joining the guerrilla ranks in Botan. She received her basic education in Botan and managed to adapt to the practice quickly.
She realized that the life and culture of the PKK, which he knew from his youth work, was lived on the mountain in a more concise and simple form. She gave great meaning to the comradeship of the PKK, which was deeply affected and one of the reasons for her participation. She kept the excitement of the first day of his participation by increasing his commitment to the comradeship day by day. It has developed by recognizing itself on the basis of Leader Apo’s Women’s Liberation Ideology. With a relentless understanding of struggle, it displayed a unique stance and participation from Sarai to Bêrîtan and Zilan. Our comrade Mawa tried to understand Leader Apo with deep questions and practiced this with his life. She has transformed every moment of her life into education, and has waged her struggle with the ideological education she has seen more consciously. By becoming competent in practice as it stays in areas where enemy orientations are intense in the military sense, She became a pioneering female commander.
Our comrade Mawa, who participated in studies with her devoted, hardworking and modest aspects, took part in many different studies and had a successful practice. After working as a guerrilla in many parts of the Zagros, in Zap, where she went as a leading YJA Star commander, she maintained her Apoist female militant stance and was in a relentless war against the occupation. Our comrade Mava, who has always chosen to be at the forefront against the attacks launched by the enemy since 2021 by mobilizing all his means, took her place on the battlefield as an active team commander against the developing attacks on April 14, 2022. With the anger of the years, she both coordinated many actions that dealt blow after blow to the enemy and revealed a resistance equivalent to the spirit of Zap by being in it. Our comrade Mava was martyred as a result of the chemical weapons attacks used by the enemy, but she did not compromise on Apoist militancy until his last breath. With its guerrilla experience starting from Botan and extending to the Zagros, it has managed to leave unforgettable traces on the mountains where it has settled.
