BEHDINAN – HPG Press Contact Center statement is as follows:
“In our statement dated 7 September 2022; We shared the information that a guerrilla team was attacked in the evening of September 5, in Dola Balisan, and according to the information we received, 3 of our comrades were martyred and 2 of our comrades were wounded in this attack, and that they were taken to the scene after intervention by the KDP forces. In the same statement, we stated that this incident should be investigated and clarified and that our friends taken by the KDP forces should be returned to us.
Our People’s Defense Center Headquarters Commander also spoke to the press on September 22; He stated that there was no development regarding what happened in Dola Balisan, that our people and the public were waiting for the outcome of this incident, and that the fate of both this incident and the two guerrilla groups that were trapped in 2021 is unknown. In this speech, our commander emphasized that he said it for the last time; He stated that the KDP delivers the bodies of our martyred friends in all three of our groups, as well as our wounded and imprisoned friends, to us intact, that this is the most reasonable request and we expect it to be met.
No explanation has been received from the KDP regarding these events and the demands have not been responded to.
