BEHDINAN – The HPG Press Center’s statement on the war is as follows:
The war criminal Turkish army, which could not break our historical resistance developed with a self-sacrificing spirit against the invasion operation of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, could not get any results against our freedom guerrilla despite using all kinds of dirty war methods. Our mobile teams, who fought selflessly in the battle positions and successfully exploited the vast geography of Kurdistan, inflict heavy blows on the colonial Turkish army. As a result of 8 actions carried out by our forces, at least 9 invaders were punished and 2 positions were destroyed. The invading Turkish army, on the other hand, occupied the Resistance Areas; It committed a field war crime once by continuing his dirty war by bombing banned bombs and chemical weapons 6 times, warplanes 13 times, and bombing dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows;
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- At 07:00 on October 8, the invaders who wanted to place a mobesse camera system around the Martyr Felat battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were targeted by our forces. After the intervention, the invaders had to retreat. At 16:00, the occupants on the move were again targeted and hit.
- On October 8, the invaders who wanted to direct the poisonous fumes to the battle positions by burning tires at the entrances of the Martyr Felat battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were targeted and shot down by our forces. After the intervention, the invaders retreated one step before they could burn the tires.
- On October 8, at 06:30, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
- On October 8, at 13:50, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Botan battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit with a sabotage tactic.
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Xakurke region;
- On October 6, at 16:00, the invaders on the move in the Girê Martyr Axîn Resistance Area in Xakurkê were hit effectively with sabotage tactics and the 3 invaders were punished. After the action, the occupiers who dispersed and settled in a position were again targeted with sabotage tactics and shot and 3 more occupants were punished. As a result of these actions carried out by our mobile teams, a total of 6 invaders were punished and 1 position was destroyed.
- On October 8, at 09:00, the invaders in the Girê Martyr Derwêş Resistance Area in Xakurkê were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star moving teams. In this action, 3 invaders were punished and 1 position was destroyed.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs and chemical weapons;
- On October 8, the Martyr Aryen, Martyr Serxwebûn and Martyr Bahoz battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area and the Martyr Felat battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were bombed 6 times with banned bombs and chemical weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 7 and 8 October, the Girê Ortê, Golka, Serê Metîna, Şelazê areas in Metîna, the land of Beşilê village and the Geliyê 44’an area in Xakurkê were bombed 13 times with warplanes.
- On October 8, the Girê Ortê area in Metîna, the Girê FM, the Gundê Fila and Çemço Resistance Areas, and the Geliyê Lolan area in Xakurkê were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- On October 8, drone activity was observed over the Saca and Sîda Resistance Areas.
- The invading Turkish army is trying to destroy the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area with buckets and bulldozers”
