BEHDÎNAN – The HPG Press Center stated:
“The freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan are reacting with historic resistance to the invasion operation of the fascist Turkish army, following the line of self-sacrifice created by our immortal Şehids. As a result of 7 actions of our armed forces, which fought in the most difficult conditions and without hesitation dealt heavy blows to the occupiers; 6 occupiers were fined, 1 occupier was injured. At the same time, 1 Mobesse camera system was destroyed, to which a mine was connected. The resistance areas were bombed by the occupying Turkish army 23 times with banned bombs and chemical weapons, 8 times with warplanes, 59 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.”
The details of the actions and attacks performed are as follows:
In the Zap region as part of the revolutionary Bazên Zagros offensive;
- At 10:00 on October 6, the occupiers who wanted to enter the Şehid Serxwebun fighting positions in the Çemço resistance area were hit with sabotage tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
- At 13:00 on October 6, the occupiers who wanted to bombard the Şehid Agir fighting positions in the Sîda resistance area with prohibited bombs and chemical weapons were met with sabotage tactics and the two occupiers were punished.
- At 3:00 p.m. on October 6, a Mobesse camera system that the occupiers had set up around the Şehid Felat fighting positions in the Sîda resistance area and on which a mine was located was professionally destroyed by our mobile teams.
- On October 6th, the invaders who wanted to place a Mobesse camera system around the Şehid Xursi fighting positions in the Saca resistance area were brought under control by our mobile teams. At 18:00 the occupiers were shot dead using sniper tactics and individual weapons, 1 occupier was fined and 1 occupier was injured.
- At 01:50 on October 7, the occupiers around the Şehid Xursi combat positions in the Saca resistance area were hit by our mobile teams with heavy weapons.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Bazên Zagros in the Xakurke region;
- At 08:30 on October 6, the occupiers in the Girê-Şehid-Derwêş resistance area in Xakurkê were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star removal teams.
- At 16:00 on October 6, the occupiers in the Girê Şehid Şahan resistance area in Xakurke were shot dead by our mobile teams with heavy weapons and 2 occupiers were punished. The occupiers who wanted to intervene in the action area with vehicles were hit by our forces with heavy weapons.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with banned bombs and chemical weapons;
- On October 6, combat positions in the Sîda resistance area were bombed twelve times with prohibited bombs and chemical weapons.
- On October 6, the fighting positions in the Girê Amediyê resistance area, the Şehid Xursi fighting positions in the Saca resistance area, the Şehid Bahoz and Şehid Serxwebun fighting positions in the Çemço resistance area, and the Şehid Agir fighting positions in the Sîda resistance area, were used with prohibited bombs and chemical weapons and were bombed eleven times . On the same day, the occupying Turkish army burned plastic materials and car tires and, with the help of aspirators, directed the chemical smoke and toxic gases into the Şehid Bahoz combat positions.
The attacks of the occupying Turkish army;
- On October 6, the village of Yekmale in the Garê area, the areas of Ergene and Deşta Kafya, and the areas of Geliyê Şehid Munzur and Girê Khîva in Qendil were bombed eight times by warplanes.
- On October 6 and 7, the resistance areas of Saca, Kurojahro, Şehid Fedakar, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî, Girê Amediyê and Girê Hakkarî were bombed 59 times by helicopter gunships.
- On October 6, the Çemço and Girê FM resistance areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- On October 6, drone activity was observed over Girê Cûdî and Girê Amediyê resistance areas.
Mortar and howitzer attack from Iran
- On October 6, the areas of Girê Berbizinê and Hornê of Goşînê in Xakurkê were bombed by Iranian forces with howitzers and mortars.”
