NEWS CENTER – Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) Member Amed Şaho spoke to Nuçe Ciwan Agency about the role of youth in the recent serhildans in Rojhilatê Kurdistan and Iran.
At the beginning of his evaluation to our news agency, Amed Şaho said;
“First of all, on behalf of myself and my comrades, we offer our revolutionary greetings to all our people in Rojhilatê Kurdistan and Iran, and to all women who stand with all their strength against the invading Iranian regime, and to everyone who started the beauty of the women’s revolution.”
“This slogan once again confirmed Leader Apo’s definition that the 21st century is the century of women’s freedom.”
This revolution, which started in Rojhilatê Kurdistan under the leadership of women, Kurdish people and youth, then spread to different parts of Iran and from there to the whole world. The first reason why this revolution has become the world revolution of women is that it started with the leadership of women. Later, with the leadership of the Kurdish people and the decisive role of the youth in this revolution, the serhildans expanded in Iran. Protesters also chanted slogans such as “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi”, “Martyr Namirin” “Berxwedan Jiyane”. This slogan once again confirmed Leader Apo’s definition of the 21st century as the century of women’s freedom.
On the other hand, this revolution is also important because it succeeded in ensuring the unity of the peoples in Iran and creating unity among all classes and communities. Conflicts between nations were set aside. Unity and solidarity among the peoples started against the occupying regime of Iran. Why did it occur? First, a woman’s free life signifies starting a new life. This means abandoning the Iranian occupation regime and rejecting this dictatorship system. No attack by the Iranian regime goes unanswered. Again, by imposing unemployment, executions, militarism, and massacring peasants and kolbars, it pushes the youth to leave their lands. Rejecting the poverty and problems presented to the society by the Iranian occupying regime with the slogan “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” is a precaution against these policies.
“In our opinion, young people have also been able to play a leading role alongside women in the 21st century”
In general, it seems that the mentality and ideology of the occupying Iranian regime has failed and is in crisis and is no longer accepted by society. The important thing is the role of youth in this process. In our opinion, young people have also been able to play a leading role alongside women in the 21st century. It is encouraging that the guerrillas of Kurdistan are leading a world revolution today. They resist fascism, dictatorship and the NATO army. What is pleasing is the continuation of such a resistance alongside the historical resistance in Imrali and the high mountains of Kurdistan. The revolution took place in the cities of Rojhilatê Kurdistan and spread to Iranian cities and was reflected all over the world. This brought along a historical resistance and a new historical age.
Kurdish youth and women are carrying out the revolution in Rojhilatê Kurdistan. What is particularly pleasing is that young people can form an organization among themselves. Now all components support each other. It is the youth who hate the regime, and it is the youth who suffer the most from this mentality. Therefore, today is the day to hold the occupying regime accountable. For this, primary schools, kindergartens, high schools or universities should form a union among themselves, where both sides support each other and both sides protect each other. Boycott all kinds of schools. Young people in power networks should also launch a campaign to boycott the work of the regime in order to weaken its hegemony in Rojhilatê Kurdistan. Especially at a time when the foundations of the regime are so shaken, it can cause disintegration, destruction and withering. Just as the slogan “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” planted on the grave of martyr Jina later spread to Iran and the world, the role played by the youth of Kurdistan has been reflected in all cities of Iran. For this reason, I think that the Kurdish youth should come up with a slogan defending the “Jin Jiyan Azadi” slogan. The slogan “Berxwedan Jiyan e” should be adopted at the Iranian level to support the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadi”.
“Therefore, young people need to initiate a new phase of resistance and struggle”
First of all, we salute the youth and participation of the people of Mazendaran, Sari, Rasht, Zahedan, Tehran, Khorasan, and all cities of Rojhilatê Kurdistan: Saqiz, Sine, Meriwan, Diwandere, Mahabad, Kirmanshah and Ilam and all other cities. Their participation in this revolution gives great hope. Undoubtedly, the attacks of the occupying Iranian regime have entered a new phase. For this reason, young people need to initiate a new phase of resistance and struggle.
Sine took the lead in this historic mission and started a new phase that included Rojhilatê Kurdistan and all other cities in Iran. At this new stage, we respectfully commemorate all the martyrs of this revolution in the person of Peyams and Şile. I think the youth should protect their martyrs during the revolution and take the revolution to the second stage. They must strengthen their own way of struggle and resistance.
Young people can resist all kinds of attacks by staying on the streets with self-defense and protection.
The only way to continue the women’s revolution, freedom and democracy revolution is for the youth to establish a democratic youth front at the Iranian level. Kurdish youth should take the initiative to form this front. Kurdish youth should be aware of this, because the occupying regime wants to mislead the women’s liberation revolution with some blackmail. They argue that this revolution was organized by foreign intrigues, and all these attempts are due to the regime’s efforts to increase the opportunities for repression, suppress the revolution, and render the revolution fruitless.
As a regime official said, Khamenei’s statement will not weaken the revolution. I think that at this critical stage, young people need to be protected from chaos and provocations and the conspiracies of the regime. Young people can resist all kinds of attacks by staying on the streets with self-defense and protection. For this reason, they should avoid all forms of enemy violence and should not leave it unanswered. Any violence that occurs and spreads will undoubtedly be retaliated and the regime will suffer. People should not believe what is said today. Kurdish youth in particular and Iran in general should trust each other and not wait for foreign powers. Nor should they trust the brilliant claims of the regime officials today. They should give their face to the content of the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadi”, “Berxwedan Jiyan e”. So these slogans are based on construction and prosperity.
Amed Şaho addressed the youth;
“Youth should target those who serve the regime in Kurdistan today”
My call to Kurdish youth in particular is that they should continue their struggle and support each other in every way possible. Support, alliance and solidarity are the greatest weapons that can be used against the regime and prevent any kind of attack. At the same time, the Kurdish youth, who are in the Besic networks, which are today a network of melting, assimilation and prostitution, must free themselves from this. Join the resistance front and join the ranks of the rebels. Thus, the pillars of the regime in Kurdistan will weaken and it will not be able to make conspiracies as before.
For this reason, the youth should target those who serve the regime in Kurdistan today. Centers and pressure centers, which are the centers of dissolution today, should be targeted. They can continue the women’s revolution by relying on their strength, their will and the essence of freedom. This revolution can provide a democratic nation in Iran and spread democracy in Iran and the world. We appreciate the resistance to date and believe that the young people in this situation can come to a conclusion with a historic mission carried with women. On this occasion, we wish success to everyone and we wish once again that women, mothers, youth, workers, teachers, artists and athletes in Kurdistan will take care of the resistance of women and youth and participate in this revolution with a comprehensive creativity.
Let’s put the revolution we will realize in the eyes of the Iranian Regime like a firewood and destroy the Iranian occupation regime and make Iran a shining place in the region, adorned with democratic modernity.
