NEWS CENTER – The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) have issued a written statement saying they are responding to attacks by the occupying Turkish state in the region, which are intensifying every day. The statement states:
“To the press and the public
We continue to respond to the attacks by the occupying Turkish army and its mercenaries against our areas. On the 1st and 4th of October, response activities were held in the areas of Bab, Marê and Sherewa.
- On the 1st of October, an action was taken against a base of the occupying Turkish army in Bab region. As a result of this action, 5 members of the occupying Turkish army (POH) were killed and many of them were injured. An armored car was also destroyed in this event.
- On October 4, a gang was injured in a sniper attack in the Mar region. On the same day, a gang was killed as a result of a sniper attack in Şereva region.
As a result of these activities in general; 5 POH members and a gang were killed, a gang and many POH members were injured.
