ISTANBUL – The YPS Jin militia Şehid Erdal Şahin carried out an action against fascist ideals in Istanbul.
In a written statement on the action, the YPS announced the following:
“If there is no uprising, you will not leave our homeland on Turkish soil, let alone Kurdistan. All Kurds, from seven to seventy, are the target of these racist attacks.” They stressed that the Kurdish people should play a more active role in the struggle.
The following information about the action was given;
“Our YPS-JIN retaliation team Şehid Erdal Şahin against fascist AKP-MHP regime burned down Ümraniye ideal hearth office in Istanbul on September 28 at 11.30pm.”
The YPS explained about its action that the fascist AKP-MHP regime put racism at the forefront of its activities and explained, among other things:
“Today the national federations are made up of people in whom the fascist AKP-MHP regime plays the role of gangs. These reinvigorated gangs are the state mafia, the organization that carries out the fascist state’s dirty activities. Conducting its activities in a legal manner, this gang organization is responsible for disrupting the moral fabric of society by engaging in activities such as drugs, trafficking in women and extortion. The mafia of the fascist AKP-MHP regime, the ideal herd, openly attack and even kill the Kurdish people with the ideology of this regime. Meanwhile, the fascist regime said: “Kill the Kurdish people, you will not regret it in the presence of the media, I will kill you again, give the message, that the Kurdish people have no place in this country, we are already behind you”. In this way they try to explain to the public that the Kurdish deaths should be justified and that they will not be punished. The martyrdom of Deniz Poyraz is a clear example of this. Again in Mersin, Aydın, Kastamonu etc. The developing attacks and the Kurdish child who was subjected to racist attacks in Istanbul two days ago is the result of the approaches created by the fascist ideology.”
Referring to this, the YPS and YPS-JIN, pointing to the need for self-defense of the Kurdish people and the concomitant uprising, stated: “Organizing the Kurdish people against the fascist regime on the basis of this death policy imposed on them should be their main task. As YPS-YPS JIN, we will hold the fascist AKP-MHP regime accountable for the death of the Kurdish people. Today’s action in Istanbul is based on our people’s struggle for freedom. We have a clear goal, our goal is to destroy fascism and we will destroy it.”
