SINJAR – Yekitiya Ciwanên Êzidî û Yekitiya Jinên Ciwan ên Şengalê called on the youth of Kurdistan to join the guerrilla ranks against chemical weapons attacks and said that as Yazidi youth, they are ready to fight with the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan.
Êzidi youth made a statement by carrying the HPG and YJA Star flags at the Martyr Dilgeş and Martyr Berxwedan Cemeteries on Mount Shengal. The statement was made by Sara Botan, Member of Yekitiya Jinên Ciwan ên Şengalê.
Sara Botan, who started her speech by saluting the resistance of the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan and expressing her condolences to all the Kurdish people and the families of the martyrs, said, “No one can break the 40-year resistance and struggle against the bloodsucking Turkish state. The enemy will never be able to destroy the will of the guerrilla because all the peoples demanding freedom are behind the guerrilla. As Êzidi youth, we tell the Turkish state from the Êzidxan lands that this will cannot be abolished. With the will and energy of the youth, the victory will definitely be ours. These brutal attacks against guerrillas with chemical weapons will never be accepted. The use of these weapons by the Turkish state shows that it could not stop the guerrilla resistance with air and ground attacks.
These attacks against the guerrillas are against all humanity. The struggle against these banned weapons for so long is only possible with the will of the guerrillas. The guerrillas have been resisting all kinds of weapons that the Turkish state has taken from NATO for more than 6 months. If NATO does not support the Turkish state, the Turkish state cannot resist the guerrilla resistance for that long.
We commemorate all martyrs with respect in the person of Martyr Baz. As Yazidi youth, we promise to stand behind the guerrillas until our last breath and to fight along this line until all our people reach freedom. Our line is the line of martyrs. We will fight to the end against oppression and we will not surrender to occupation. The guerrilla is the people and the youth. We, the youth and the people, are ready to fight together with the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan against the occupation.
Currently, a large part of Southern Kurdistan is occupied by the Turkish state. The youth of Southern Kurdistan should no longer remain silent against this invasion and the KDP’s cooperation with the enemy. We call on all Kurdistan and Yazidi youth to stand up and join the guerrilla ranks to stop these attacks and occupation.”
