BEHDİNAN – HPG-BİM made a written statement and said, “As a result of the actions carried out in memory of our immortal commander Bêrîtan (Gülnaz Karataş), the symbol of our female army, our YJA Star mobile teams; “One Skorsky helicopter was shot down and one invader was punished,” he said.
The statement also stated that “The invading Turkish army defines the Resistance Areas; It bombed 5 times with banned bombs, 4 times with chemical weapons and tear gas, 13 times with warplanes, 44 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
HPG-BİM gave the details of the guerrilla actions and the attacks of the invaders as follows:
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On October 24, at 07:30, the invaders in the Martyr Adil Resistance Area were hit with individual weapons by our mobile teams.
- On October 24, at 09:50, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On October 24, at 21:10, there was a helicopter movement over the Martyr Adil Resistance Area. Our mobile teams interfered with the helicopters that wanted to land and the helicopters had to leave the area before they could land.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- Helicopter activity took place over the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area around 00:00 on October 24. 1 Skorsky helicopter YJA Star that wanted to land around the Martyr Kendal battle positions was targeted by our mobile teams. The helicopter, which caught fire and produced dense smoke as a result of the effective hits of our forces, was destroyed by falling while trying to get away from the area.
- On October 25, at 04:30, the invaders advancing towards the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit and hit by a sabotage action by our forces. The invaders, who wanted to retreat one step, were hit by our mobile teams with individual weapons this time.
In the Xakurke region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On October 24, at 12:30, the invaders in Xakurkê’s Girê Martyr Sarya Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs and chemical weapons;
- On October 24, the Girê Martyr Pîrdoğan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area and the Martyr Felat war positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were bombed 5 times with banned bombs.
- On October 24, the Martyr Bahoz battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed 4 times with chemical weapons and pepper gas, and the toxic fumes were directed to the battle positions by using aspirators.
Attacks by the invading Turkish army;
- On October 24, the Kanîsarkê, Gundê Dêrik and Gundê Zîvkê areas of Garê and the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed 13 times with warplanes.
- On October 24, Çemço, Girê Hakkarî, Girê Cûdî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas were bombed 44 times with attack helicopters.
- On October 24, the Girê FM Resistance Area was bombed dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- On October 24, the invading Turkish army tried to destroy the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area with scoops and crushing buckets.
- On October 24, drone activity was observed over the Saca and Çemço Resistance Areas.”
