On July 22, the occupying Turkish state attacked a car with an unmanned aircraft on the road to Qamişlo, and as a result of this attack Jiyan Tolhildan, one of the commanders of the YPJ and the SDF, was also the general commander of the YAT forces. Roj Khabûr and our fellow member of the YAT Forces, Barîn Botan, who participated in the 10th anniversary of the revolution forum held in Qamishli, were martyred as a result of the drone attack after leaving. We offer our condolences to all the Kurdish people, North and East Syria and SDF forces for the martyrdom of our commander and comrades. Our promise to avenge the martyrs will be with the protection and expansion of the Rojava revolution, the defeat of the invading Turkish state and ISIS gangs and the guarantee of the liberation of Rojava and the free North and East of Syria.
The commander of YAT, Jiyan Tolhildan alias Sewal Yusuf, witnessed all the difficulties and moments of the revolution, she worked with great dedication and hard work in the beginning of the revolution, from the work of organizing the people, the formation of the YXG to the formation of the YPJ army and the activities of the YAT. The Rojava revolution with the hard work and struggle of Hevrê and Farmandar Jiyanan became the women’s revolution, it became the name and the hope for the freedom of all women and humanity. Today, this revolution reached its 10th anniversary thanks to the efforts of these comrades and commanders. The strength and will of Commander Jiyanan created the belief of free life in all women and society, and women and young people from all parts of Rojava, North and East Syria and all over the world gave heart to this revolution and flowed towards Rojava. Commander Jiyan was the commander who had great knowledge and experience with the warmth of the free life and revolution of Rojava and with this experience and knowledge they trained hundreds of fighters that today these fighters will raise the legacy of the struggle that Commander Jiyan left for them and with the country ensure freedom. Our comrade and leading Fermadara Jiyan took her place in all the steps to liberate the West and the North and the East of Syria with the resistant spirit of a free woman. In 2013, Jiyan fought against the Daesh gangs in Serekaniyeh against the gangs of Al-Nusra, Sheikh Maqsood, Shedad, Manbij and Deir ez-Zor, and fought side by side with the coalition forces. She participated in all rescue steps. Commander Life Revenge’s struggle became the hope of free life for all humanity.
Comrade and Commander Roj, nicknamed Ciwana Heso, grew up in a patriotic family in Dirbesi. In a short time, she gained experience in the revolution and with the philosophy of women’s freedom she became a revolutionary woman with will and power. Until the last moment, he lived with this concept of the philosophy of freedom and took responsibility for her revolutionary and patriotic duties. She spent every moment of her life fighting for a free country. She participated in the liberation steps against Daesh gangs with the coalition forces and humanity was saved from Daesh with the leadership and courage of her comrade and commander Jiyan and Roj.
Comrade Barîn Botan, nicknamed Ruha Bashar, who grew up in Afrin in a patriotic family, was influenced by the Rojava revolution in her search for freedom and joined the ranks of the YPJ. Our friend Barîn lived with great anger and hatred towards the invading Turkish state and fought with great determination and determination to defeat the occupation.
The people’s revolution of North and East Syria was realized with the great work and sacrifice of martyr friends and on the basis of women’s freedom and became the hope of freedom for all women and freedom-loving societies. As YPJ forces, it is our duty and oath that we have given to our comrades and commanders to grow and protect the revolution and ensure the freedom of Rojava and North and East Syria. Once again, we offer our condolences to all our people and the forces of YPJ and SDF, we will take revenge on our comrades from the occupying forces, this attack will not be able to make us take a step back, it will only increase our anger and hatred.
