THE KDP COLABORATION WITH THE TURKISH OCCUPATION
For many times the leadership of KCK and the PKK expressed how the forces of the Barzani Family, organized around the KDP (Kurdistan ‘Democratic’ Party) are in collaboration with the occupation forces of the fascist turkish state in Bashur Kurdistan – Northern Iraq. This is a subject of contradiction between the Iraqi state and the KDP, since the Iraqi state does not recognize the more then 80 bases constructed by Turkey in the region since 2015.
Most recently, Turkish airstrikes killed nine tourists in northern Iraq and wounded over 20, Iraqi Kurdish officials and the Iraqi army said on Wednesday. At least four missiles struck the resort area of Barakh in the Zakho district in the semi-autonomous Kurdish-run region, district mayor Mushir Mohammed told The Associated Press. All the casualties were Iraqi citizens. The Iraqi government brought the massacre carried out by the Turkish state in Zaxo to the agenda of the UN Security Council. While drawing attention to Ankara’s expansionist goals, Baghdad documented 22,740 violations. The UN stated that the parties are ready for a joint investigation.
On July ANF also shared a footage of KDP members building a military base to be used by the turkish military.
