DERIK – The Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union organized their activities and training in the line of the Revolutionary People’s War, following the call of the Young Groups “Against Occupation and Betrayal, Join the Freedom Fight”.
The occupying Turkish state and its partner KDP, which attacked the Media Protection Zones on April 17, continue their brutal attacks to this day. At the same time, against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas, with steely will, from the time of their entry until now, it has been carrying out effective actions and inflicting heavy blows on them. The resistance carried out by the guerrillas is a historical resistance and new epics of heroism. The invading-killing Turkish state, which cannot resist the guerrilla resistance, is experiencing bigger failures every day. In order to hide these failures from the public opinion of the world, he increased his attacks against the Kurdish people and Kurdistan. Especially on Rojava Kurdistan and the North-Eastern regions of Syria, where the free and democratic ideas of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan prevail.
In recent times, the occupying Turkish state, through agents and traitors, has carried out many brutal attacks against the patriotic people, commanders and freedom fighters, against women and children. A large number of women and children were victims of these attacks. Despite all the attacks, he still can’t get the result he wants. Because the people of the region have trained themselves in the line of protecting rawa. The resistance that the people of Rojava Kurdistan and all the people of North-East Syria are raising against the occupation is the biggest sign of success. However, the state and the authorities do not accept that the will of the people prevails over their authority. In order to destroy this free will, they mobilize all their power.
On this basis, the people of Rojava Kurdistan and all the North-Eastern regions of Syria, especially the young men and women of the region, continue to organize themselves in the framework of the Revolutionary People’s War in order to thwart these attacks.

In relation to this issue, the TEV-DEM Youth, together with the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union, opened special training sessions related to nature conservation in the city of Derik. The youth of the Democratic Society Movement “TEV-DEM” opened a special training for the members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement in the context of nature protection, which will last for three days.
The young people who participated in the session expressed their opinion and stated that this education is a vital necessity for them, every person should know how to protect himself from external attacks and said; If a person’s time is left without protection, the person will disappear. As young people, we educate and organize ourselves in every possible way in order not to be destroyed and not to fulfill the goals of the invaders. Protection is a vital necessity for us, we must protect ourselves more than anything else. When we protect ourselves, we will survive.”
In addition, the education committee also pointed out that education itself is a very important thing. “Education is the most important thing for every young person. When young people educate themselves, they can illuminate the future of their society, because young people are the leaders of this society. We have also come here to teach natural defense lessons, so that when there is a war or an emergency situation, the young people are not left without a response, they intervene immediately.”
Young workers who participated in the training said; “As young people, we work in factories, but protecting the country is more important for us. In order for us to be able to live in our country, whatever is desired, we will do it with all our strength until the end. We will continue our struggle against occupation and betrayal in the factories as well.”
At the same time, the lesson commission stated that young people participate in education with great love and listen to the lesson and said; “The young people who work here can do anything to protect their country. They listen to the lesson with great love and try to improve themselves in all aspects soon.”
In order to educate themselves, the Kurdish youth, first of all, take the ideas of the People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan as their basis and develop themselves in this context. People’s leader Abdullah Ocalan, who was 24 years old, is being kept under strict isolation in Imraliyeh Strike, is a new hope for all oppressed and freedom-loving people. There has been more than ever to express and embrace Leader Apo’s ideas.
On this basis, the Youth Council of the Democratic Union Party “PYD” in the countryside of the city of Derikı continues to distribute the books of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The Youth Council affiliated to the PYD in the city of Derik, with the aim of spreading the ideas of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, started a mobile library bus in the rural areas of the city of Derik. The books of the People’s Leader received a lot of interest from young people.
At the beginning, when the young people arrived in the village of Rûbariyê, they started to distribute the books of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan for all the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution.
During the distribution of the books, a speech was made on the name of the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the young people said; “The main task for us is to spread ideas and ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo. No matter how much we do, we cannot pay our debt to Leader Apo. Leader Apo has been struggling for 24 years to free the oppressed people and give them their right to live. We should increase our activities for Leader Apo’s freedom.”
The distribution of books ended with cheers and chanting of slogans.
