NEWS CENTER – The invading and genocidal Turkish state, which in 1960 believes that it oppressed the Kurdish cause, opened its doors to the capitalist modernity system and brought it to Kurdistan. Turkey’s capitalism, which developed under the influence of America, is experiencing the biggest crisis today. This clearly shows in North Kurdistan that it has opened the way for anti-economic changes. Now in Kurdistan, from that time until today, the social, cultural, ideological and economic structure is related to national genocide and assimilation. With these methods, Kurdistan’s marketing channels are opened to capitalism. The people who have developed this in Kurdistan and Turkey have brought out some conflicts and conflicts with themselves. This conflict also causes the development of new ideological and political movements based on the ideologies of socialism. This movement develops on the basis of national liberation and the search for democracy. These new searches and democratic movements of the new nation are also promoting political and ideological movements in Kurdistan. One of the most important movements and parties in the history of the Kurdish people is the PKK.
What makes the PKK and brings it to life is a different system from any other. The PKK has correctly explained the reality of the genocidal and fascist regime, and has defined the line of resistance of the Kurdish people on this basis. Since its inception, the PKK has achieved many achievements in North Kurdistan that have been able to protect the cultural and moral values of the society. These gains made by the PKK created the ground for the nation state or the genocidal state. This also hindered the Turkish state, it did not succeed in their ideological war against the PKK and Leader Apo, it could not achieve results even through the political struggle. In this sense, the PKK is a movement of resistance to the democratization of Turkey. The attempt to democratize Turkey, which Denizan, Mahiran, Kaypakkayan and Sinan Cemgilan started in 1971, is the continuation of PKK as a movement. In order to prevent revolutionaries and socialist figures from achieving this goal, the Turkish state launched a military campaign against Kurdish and Turkish revolutionaries in Turkey.
The fascist coup of the Turkish state took place on September 12 of 1980 against revolutionaries and socialist leftists. But before this coup took place, every preparation was done for two years, so there was no sudden coup. Kenan Evren also stated that in 1978 they made the decision of a military coup. Behind the events between 75-80 there are state institutions and the counter-guerrilla. Because of that, it cannot be said that the state has been forced and staged a coup. Those who lead the generals and encourage and advance, are NATO and the United States. These organizations represent international capital. As people develop, they can be said to be global capitalists. After the fascist military coup of September 12, there is Turkish monopoly capitalism, that is, monopoly capitalism. The coup was carried out to protect the interests of those capitalists. On January 24, 1980, under the administration of Turgut Ozal, the decisions of the interests of monopolistic capitalism were taken and they were taken out and placed in the constitution. In order to implement those basic laws, they will carry out the strike on September 12. In order to implement the decisions made on January 24, 1980, a fascist military administration is necessary.
Moreover, it is not only the coup of September 12, but the coup of March 12, 1971, was a step taken for that. Even before that, the military coup on May 27, 1960, the administration remained in the hands of the military for a while, and the civilian policy is pushed back and threatened. They stop civilization and democratization. It starts from the 1960s and continues until the 80s. Especially when it comes to the beginning of the 70s, the question of which direction Turkey will go, comes up as a serious question. Will Turkey belong to the fascist military base of the oligarchic dictatorship, or will Turkey be democratized? The coup of September 12 is being carried out in order to establish a fascist military dictatorship. This strike also includes the handover. Only the PKK rejects and resists this fascism.
The PKK and its resistance leaders are the ones who brought about this coup and destroyed its power. At least the PKK continued to exist as an opposition. In order for the genocidal state to surrender this will and spirit of the PKK, at the beginning of 1981, the persecution and torture in the prisons reached its peak. Historical resistance is developing against these persecutions and inhuman actions. PKK leaders such as Mazlum Dogan, who refused to surrender, put their lives on fire with the words “Resistance is Life”. Ferhat who didn’t accept betrayal became a spark of fire, Kemal who rejected the life of a slave sacrificed their lives in the end of free life. Mehmet Kheyrî Durmuş, who has denied the violation of rights, started the non-returning resistance of the death fast.
