NEWS CENTER – Silava Remedan was one of the 5 children killed by the Turkish state in the girls’ education center in the village of Şemoke, west of Hesekê, by SİHA. Silava, one of the 11 injured children, was martyred on 1 September.
The people, who took Silava’s body in front of the Martyrs’ Families Assembly in Dirbesiyê, went to the Martyr Rustem Cûdî Cemetery with a vehicle convoy. Edlê Yusif, a member of the Martyrs’ Families Council, who offered his condolences to Silava’s family, said, “Martyr Silava and other martyred friends joined Dîlan, Zozan and Diyane.”
Silava’s friend Novîn Afrin said, “The attack on our school is a massacre. Children like Martyr Silava are murdered before the eyes of the world. We will follow their footsteps until our pen runs dry.”
The martyr’s mother, Remziye Remedan, also made a speech. Anne Remedan said: “Daughter, today you became the way to the truth. I could not say a word, but your smiling face gave me strength. Not a day goes by without a smile. I speak for Silava; I was a student and chose the path of truth. I offer my condolences to all the families and relatives of the martyrs.” .
After the speeches, his body was buried with slogans.
