NEW CENTRAL – Martyr Hebun was born in a patriotic family in the Omeryan region of Mardin. Due to the participation of his family and friends in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and their martyrdom, Hebun grew up with a patriotic mindset. Martyr Hebun, who recognized and followed the struggle for existence and freedom of the people of Kurdistan, grew up with this mindset, and has always been sensitive to the sufferings of his people. The capitalist system of modernity, which has created class differences and inequality in society, has led to the development of contradictions and searches in martyr Hebun. It has revealed the fact that a free, equal and humane life can be created based on these searches.
In the years 2015-2016, the attacks of physical genocide, torture and inhumane practices against the Kurdish people, especially in North Kurdistan, led the martyr Hebun to struggle. He joined the struggle based on his feelings of patriotism and the reality of the enemy he saw. He saw that it is not possible to stop the enemy and gain freedom with just one word and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016. He received his first guerilla training in Gar and joined the practice. In two years, he gained many experiences of guerrilla life and learned to defend himself against enemy attacks. He went to Zap in order to ask the murderous and oppressor Turkish state for the cruelty and attacks on the Kurdish people.
Martyr Hebun took an active part in the practice in Zap field without hesitation. His hard-working socialist personality, his sincerity, his friendly approach and his high morale were his leading characteristics. Martyr Hebun, who always gives importance to freedom and equality and takes part in the struggle for this, has made these standards the basis of his life. From the moving teams to the tunnels in Zagros, he carried out every duty and responsibility with great love. Apoyi’s philosophy is based on study and depth, and he tried to incorporate the virtues of Apoyi’s ideology into his personality. At the same time, he developed himself in military art and achieved a high level with his disciplined personality and his brilliant intelligence. Martyr Hebun, who showed a stable involvement, took the revolutionary responsibility and became a commander. He acted with the knowledge that how much he developed himself, he could also lead his comrades forward, and on this basis, he claimed to be a successful commander. Martyr Hebun, with his exemplary command and leadership, became the companions of his friends and won the love of all his companions.
Martyr Hebûn was one of the heroic commanders who promoted manual guerrilla resistance and prevented the invading Turkish state from occupying the Defense Zones of Media. Without hesitation, he took this heavy and historical burden on his shoulder and despite the enemy’s war technique and the uneven war conditions, he always maintained his claim of victory. With great faith, unmatched will and strong effort in the war tunnels of the Hell Hill of the Resistance Area, he showed a high resistance to the war. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, despite the very few opportunities and difficult conditions, with its manual resistance, stopped the invading Turkish army for months and put it in a big stalemate. Martyr Hebun, who was one of the pioneers of this resistance and commanded his comrades with his courage, was martyred as one of the heroic commanders as a result of the attack with chemical weapons in the context of the Zagros Revolutionary Campaign.
