NEWS CENTER – Images received by ANF show a military base under construction in the Amediye region of Southern Kurdistan.
For this base, the exact place known as the Command Field on Amediye Hill and where the guerrilla is currently actively fighting has been determined. The images show that the KDP has started to build a military base for the Turkish army under its shadow by planting the Southern Kurdistan Region flags on this hill.
At a few points on the hill, the flags of the Federal Kurdistan Region and the walls that have been built stand out.
Speaking during the video shoot, journalist Kurtay Serhat said, “The KDP is outposting the Turkish army under the shadow of the Southern Kurdistan flag.”
In July another video showed the building up of a military base by the KDP to be delivered to turkish occupier forces, in Metina. On this hill, where secret units of Turkish soldiers were seen trying to settle before, KDP forces started to build roads and then bases and shelters with heavy machinery. It turned out that the secret units belonging to the occupying army in the same region were under the protection of the KDP forces in order not to be attacked by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas.
THEY ARE BUILDING A PASTE TO THE POINT WHERE THE TURKISH SOLDIER WAS SHOOLED
Kurtay Serhat reminds that the invading Turkish army deployed soldiers here on the night of July 4, and states that the guerrilla carried out an action here one day later, on July 5th.
Giving this information, Serhat points to the point where one of the flags is standing on the hill and says, “Here, where this flag is, Turkish soldiers became the target of the guerrilla, one soldier died and another was injured.”
He also shared images confirming this information in the same image. The flag of Kurdistan was planted on the same spot where the Turkish soldier appeared on 6 July. A little further, there is the police station whose construction has started.
While the KDP has been mobilizing for months to build military bases at the points occupied by the Turkish state, it has also been observed running to the aid of Turkish soldiers who have been hit by the guerrilla many times.
KARAYILAN: COME TO AMEDİYE AND SEE THE FOUNDATIONS!
PKK Executive Committee Member Murat Karayılan, in his interview published on ANF on September 22, reacted that the KDP’s contribution to the Turkish state blocked the way for a solution for Southern Kurdistan as well.
Karayılan said, “If the state ends the guerrilla, it will make all of Kurdistan go through genocide. KDP should not do this, why is it doing this? We didn’t make sense of it. You really need to ask them about this. They should explain to the public why they did this,” he said.
Noting that the KDP had to make an explanation, Karayılan said, “Today, so many of our people are being persecuted. We stand against this oppression. What does it mean to provide so much help and contribution in logistics, intelligence, containment, roadblocks and everything else. We did not expect this much. For this reason, they should explain it themselves,” he added.
Karayılan also pointed out that the KDP is building roads for the Turkish state in Amediye, noting that this is not an ordinary situation, and said, “Amediyê’s roads are slightly sloped, we have 3 positions there. The enemy understood that they could not take our positions. Later, he put the tactic of drawing the KDP into this issue as well. The Turkish state is implementing a plan to start a war between the Kurds. That’s why we approach it very sensitively, but the KDP does not approach it sensitively at all,” he said.
Inviting those who claim that this information is not true, Karayılan said the following: “They will see everything there. There are Turkish soldiers everywhere and bases are being established. Okay, it’s your place, but right now we have a war with the Turkish state, don’t come between us. Then let’s see whether we will defeat them or will they defeat us? Our faith is clear. Where did the Turkish state take over? Our friends have been fighting hand to hand with the Turkish state in Avaşîn for 2 years. We are fighting everywhere. We are fighting against bombardment, air strikes, chemical weapons, all kinds of techniques. If they had some conscience, they would not cooperate with the Turkish state in this case. The Turkish state is already an occupying state, how can they help them?”
