BEHDINAN – In the statement, it was stated that Çiçek and Yıldırım were handed over to the Turkish state by Armenia.
“Our friends Leheng (Atilla Çiçek) Alişer (Hüseyin Yıldırım) who are alleged to have been captured by the Turkish state in an operation have been handed over to the Turkish state by the Armenian state. It is unrealistic that our friends were taken by the Turkish state in an operation. In reality, they have been detained by the Armenian government since November 2021. Our friends Leheng and Alişer were handed over to the Turkish state as a result of betrayal, and with this fake news, the betrayal of the Armenian Government was tried to be hidden and covered up.
WE CONDEMN THE PASHINYAN GOVERNMENT
It is very meaningful that the Armenian Government handed over two Kurdish revolutionaries who fought for the freedom of the Kurdish people and went to Armenia for a revolutionary mission in a period when Armenian lands were occupied with the provocation and support of the Turkish state. This situation clearly revealed that the Pashinyan Government is in cooperation with the genocidal colonialist Turkish state and the fascist AKP-MHP government. As the Kurdish Freedom Movement, we strongly condemn the Pashinyan Government, which handed over our two friends to the Turkish state, for this collaborative attitude.
This attitude of the Pashinyan Government also confirmed the criticism and accusations made against him regarding the occupation of Armenian lands. The fact that the Armenian lands were handed over to the Turkish state, instead of supporting those who struggled against the genocidal colonialist Turkish state, reveals this situation. This is also a betrayal of the Armenian people’s struggle against the genocide. The handing over of these two of our friends to the Turkish state has revealed the fact that the Pashinyan Government has been covertly collaborating and treacherous.
THE PASHINYAN GOVERNMENT IS BEHAVIORING THE ARMENIAN PEOPLE
We are making this statement primarily in order for the Armenian people to better understand this fact of the Pashinyan Government and to inform the democratic public opinion of our people correctly. The handing over of these two of our friends to the Turkish state indicates that the Pashinyan Government is in betrayal with the cause of the peoples, especially the cause of the Armenian people, that it cooperated with the genocidal colonialist Turkish state, which massacred the Armenian people in history and occupied the remaining Armenian lands, and therefore stands by the policy of occupation and genocide. reveals. We call on all peoples and their friends, especially the Armenian people, to take a stand against this collaborative government. We believe that the Armenian people will take the necessary attitude towards this government and will hold them accountable for their collaboration and betrayal.
The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle is fighting not only for the freedom of the Kurdish people, but also for the freedom and liberation of all the peoples of the region, especially the Armenian people. The Kurdish people see the Armenian people as a brotherly people and the country they live in as the Common Homeland, and with these feelings they approach the Armenian people and support the cause of the Armenian people. Both the Armenian people and the Kurdish people know this very well and both peoples have positive feelings towards each other. What the collaborators do will not harm the brotherhood and partnership of struggle of the Kurdish and Armenian peoples. On the contrary, these approaches will enable the Kurdish and Armenian peoples to engage in more common struggle. This attitude of the Pashinyan Government is doing great harm to the cause of the Armenian people and their struggle for existence. It is possible to be honorable and live right by resisting and struggling, not by collaborating. As the Kurdish Freedom Movement, we call on the Pashinyan Government to immediately abandon the collaborative relations with the genocidal colonialist Turkish state and apologize to the Armenian and Kurdish people for this incident.”
