MAKHMUR – Member of the Young Women’s Movement of Makhmur Kajin Özek said; Our people of Makhmur have been standing against these invaders for 30 years. This in itself is a great achievement. The occupying state always targets patriotic people and communities. From Şengal, to Makhmur, from Makhmur to Rojava, our people are facing genocide. These attacks are especially against people who want their rights.
The Young Woman Kajin Özek stated that the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on Kurdistan have completely increased and said; “First of all, we remember all our martyrs in the person of martyr Abu Zed, and all the martyrs of Kurdistan, and we promise to continue their footsteps. As it is known, the Turkish state’s attacks against our people and youth have recently increased in the world in general. Our people must prevent these attacks, let their voice reach every part of the world, let the voice of our people reach all freedom-loving people. We will fight for our freedom, we will pay a heavy price for this struggle. But we will always stand. We are currently going through a sensitive process, because in this process we lost a lot of martyrs, one of them was the martyr Abu Zed. We salute all the martyrs of Makhmur. Also, Kajin continued his speech and said; “As young people and every other patriot, we should always be on the field. Because the duty falls on our friends, they do it. The guerrilla shows great resistance against chemical weapons, we see the cooperation of the KDP with the Turkish state against the guerrilla. For this reason, all our people should see this and do what they can according to the current situation and process. A young man who cannot lift a weapon should join the work. In order to live in a free country, we will pay very high prices, the more we pay, the more proud we will be. Retribution does not weaken us, it makes us stronger and increases our hatred against the enemy. If we are really patriotic people, we should do our best for this country, there is no patriotism in words. We must always tell our fighters, we are with you, we are by your side, and we will always be the answer to the enemy’s attacks.”
Kajin drew attention to the brutality of the Turkish state, which delivers the bodies of martyrs to their families in sacks; “The enemy was so brutal, they gave the bones of our friends to their families with turbans and shawls. In fact, the person who says that I have a conscience, I have feelings of patriotism, must be a bone of the bone of that martyred friend. Now, no matter who is where, everyone must resist these invasion attacks. Let them prove their existence, we will never leave the bones of our friends on the ground.”
Focusing on the enemy’s fear of the Kurdish language, Kajin continued his speech; “Our people always want to speak in their Kurdish language, but this is forced by the enemy. For this reason, our people should take the brutality of the Turkish state in front of their eyes, and show their reactions against it. Because this war that is being fought now is a war of victory. Our standing up against the invaders is the biggest success.”
Finally, Kajin called on all the people and the youth to take their place in the fight for victory and said; “Our call is for all young people, all patriots and all people with conscience to stand up for their guerrillas, all their martyrs, their cause and their country. We will not allow the enemy to enter our patriotic and resistant people.”
