“The invasion operation, which the invading Turkish state launched on April 14 within the framework of its attempts to occupy Bashure Kurdistan, hit the epic resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in the Zap area and was brought to the brink of defeat. Our comrades in the Girê Hell area of Zap have used the war tunnels effectively since the first day of the invasion attacks and at the same time dealt heavy blows to the invaders with mobile teams. The attacks carried out by the invading war criminal Turkish army using all inhumane methods were met by the Apoist will of our comrades at the battle positions and did not allow the invaders to pass. Our comrades, who displayed an unprecedented resistance in Girê Hell for nearly two months, once again, with their glorious resistance, they proved to the whole world that the Apoist spirit of sacrifice will not bow down to any power. Our comrades, who shed their blood drop by drop to realize our people’s dreams of freedom, defeated the invaders in every second they breathed. Unable to break the resistance of our comrades, the fascist Turkish army bombed the resistance areas hundreds of times with chemical weapons, banned bombs, explosives, warplanes and attack helicopters, and used all despicable methods it knows.
Our esteemed commanders Zinar, Destan, Diyana, Hebûn and Serdem, who developed a historical resistance by shielding their hearts and bodies against the enemy attacks, fell as martyrs as a result of the enemy’s chemical weapons attacks. By not compromising their resistance against the colonial Turkish army, they became the symbols of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign. The resistance developed by our heroic comrades and the vast experience they uncovered have guided all their comrades and have been decisive in the continuation of today’s resistance.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our martyred commanders Zinar, Destan, Diyana, Hebûn and Serdem, who became the guarantee of our people’s freedom with their resistance.

ZINAR GULCAN AMANOS
Our comrade Zinar was born in Girkê Legê in Rojavayê Kurdistan. When he was born, he was given the name Zinar by his patriotic family. The fact that many of our martyrs were named after him and that he grew up in a patriotic family environment introduced our comrade Zinar to the Apoist ideology early on. He participated in revolutionary youth work in Damascus at a young age. But he was arrested by the Syrian regime and remained in prison for about three months. The spring of the peoples during his stay in the dungeon and the entry of the Middle East into a new era also affected our comrade Zinar, and after he got out of the dungeon, he came to Rojavayê Kurdistan and participated in the construction of the revolution.
Our comrade Zinar, who took part in self-defense activities, later joined the defense forces as a youth from Rojava and became an indomitable fighter of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. With his strong belief in the freedom of the Kurdish people and in the revolution, he fought against many gang structures, especially Al Nusra and ISIS gangs. He has achieved significant success with his high courage, tactical development ability and practical intelligence. He also paid a great price in this war. He received bullets in his body in 2012, shrapnel hit his head and body in 2013 in Serêkaniyê, received a bullet in his foot in Cezaa in 2014, injured his foot and back in Shengal in 2014, and was wounded in both legs and chest in the Hall in 2016. . Despite being severely injured many times, his resistant structure, He recovered early with his morale and determination to fight, and again went to the battlefields and took his gun. He learned lessons from each injury and turned it into a great experience. Our comrade Zinar, who does not use problems as reasons for himself, overcomes difficulties, never gives up, and knows how to constantly create a way out, has displayed an exemplary Apoist militancy in this sense.
Comrade Zinar’s anger increased when the colonialist genocidal Turkish state imposed heavy isolation on Leader Apo and prevented his physical freedom. Because our comrade Zinar has expressed that our people of Rojavayê Kurdistan should fight for their Leadership as an honorable Kurdish youth, knowing that the Rojava Freedom Revolution was the work of Leader Apo. At the same time, he always expressed that the roots of the Kurdish people are in the mountains and he lived with the longing of reaching the mountain life. On this basis, he came to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks to fight against the colonialist genocidal Turkish state. Our comrade Zinar, who has an important experience in the war and served as a commander, modestly participated in the training of new warriors in order to become a guerrilla in the mountains of Kurdistan. He was put into practice on the basis of the guerrilla principles he acquired from here. He defined his meeting with the mountains as a rebirth and expressed the indescribable joy of living in the PKK environment in the mountains. Taking part in the guerrilla’s free life integrated with the mountains has been a great morale booster for him and he has based on living every moment in the mountains meaningfully.
Our comrade Zinar was a guerilla in Garê and Zap, and he knew how to blend his war experience in the revolutionary environment with the war style in the mountains. In this sense, our comrade Zinar, who has a rich experience, aimed to become a modern guerrilla. He has made us aware that we can only lead our revolution to victory if we can realize modern guerrillaism and create the victory command. With this awareness, he assumed responsibility in every field from mobile teams to the construction of battle positions and tunnels. He passionately undertook the construction of war tunnels, which required great effort and effort, and firmly believed in the efficacy of the tunnel warfare style. He became one of the Apoist commanders who worked with this belief and led the process, and was in search and work to transform the hills he was on into resistance castles.
He was injured again in an enemy attack in 2020, and as soon as he finished his treatment, he again took his breath on the battlefields. In this sense, our comrade Zinar, who is an indomitable revolutionary, has an exemplary stance and participation. It has always aimed to respond to the expectations of our Leader and our people, struggled to realize the dreams of our saintly martyrs, and devoted himself to this revolution in every sense. Our comrade Zinar, who is an exemplary Apoist commander with his stance, participation, courage, determination and belief in victory, has managed to become one of the symbolic commanders of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign. Our comrade Zinar, who welcomed the invasion attack launched by the Turkish army against Zap at Girê Hell Resistance Castle and made this place hell for the invaders, played his historical role well. Our comrade Zinar, who called all young people from Kurdistan in one of his speeches; He stated that it was enough to persecute now, and he wanted everyone to join the ranks of the struggle. This meaningful call of our comrade Zinar will definitely be answered by the Kurdish youth, and our comrades will always be taken as an example by our comrades for their revolutionary march, courage and command.

DESTAN TENDUREK
Our comrade Destan Tendurek was born in Patnos district of Agirî in a patriotic family. She grew up in a patriotic family and environment. She participated in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from her family circle and one of her uncles was martyred. Our comrade Destan, who grew up with the atmosphere of revolution and patriotic culture in Kurdistan, got to know the struggle for freedom at an early age. For this reason, he always sympathized with the guerrilla, showed interest, and the tortures applied to the prisoners in the dungeons and the oppression of the Kurdish people caused a great anger in him. She witnessed the tortures that the Turkish state inflicted on people at a young age and questioned the reasons for this. Being with those who resist for the freedom of the Kurdish people and participating in this holy struggle has become the main aim of our comrade Destan.
Our comrade Destan, who participated in the freedom struggle with these feelings, took part in revolutionary youth work. She made a great contribution to youth work and worked hard to raise the awareness of Serhat women and to participate in the freedom struggle. For this, she trained and developed herself more, and as she developed, she helped his environment. She made aware that free Kurdish women are today’s greatest resistance fighters and the architects of a free life and struggled to realize this sacred purpose. Serhat’s valiant daughter, Martyr Sema Yüce, has become his greatest goal to follow in the footsteps of our comrade and to become a sacrifice like Zilan and Semalar. On the basis of this purpose, our comrade Epic has determined a very meaningful date to join the freedom struggle and joined the guerrilla ranks on June 30, the Day of Sacrifice.
Our comrade Destan, who stepped into a guerrilla life in the Serhat mountains, moved to the Medya Defense Zones from here and received his first guerrilla training in the Avaşîn area. Joining the guerrilla life has created indescribable joy and great morale in our comrade Destan. Our comrade Destan, who always preserves her joy and passion for free life, has worked hard to become a strong guerrilla. The PKK, which she joined with love, made progress early in her life. When the ISIS gangs, the enemy of humanity, attacked the Kurdish people to commit genocide, our comrade Destan became one of the Apoist heroes who took up her gun and shielded his chest against this reaction. Being one of the Kurdish women who exhibited a resistance that set an example to the whole world, increased the determination and determination of our comrade Destan, and experienced the rightful pride of this.
Our comrade Destan, who returned to the Zagros mountains, where she received his first guerrilla training, participated in the active war there without hesitation. She named her name Destan in order to become a free Kurdish woman who wrote epics in the freedom struggle. She has always been based on being like her name and living an epic. She fought against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state with a great passion for freedom, and became a commander with the war experience she gained over the years. By never accepting an ordinary participation, she played the leading role in life and in war, and as a valiant woman from Serhat, she took part in the actions developed against the enemy. She set an example for all his comrades with his courage, comradeship, sincerity, moral participation, determination to struggle, love for freedom and devotion to the Leader.
Our epic comrade stood up with great courage against the invasion operation developed by the Turkish state against the Medya Defense Areas in 2022 and was one of the guerrillas who dealt heavy blows to the invaders. It showed a high performance in both mobile team warfare and tunnel warfare. Our comrade Diyana was born in the Norşîn district of Bedlîs. She grew up in a patriotic family belonging to the Mûtki tribe. The patriotism of his circle enabled our comrade Diyana to recognize the freedom movement early. She grew up seeing the genocidal politics, brutal attacks and state terror faced by the Kurdish people. The facts that she witnessed caused an awareness and search in our comrade Diyana. At the same time, as a young Kurdish woman, she realized the deep social contradictions and sought a way to realize women’s freedom. When the ISIS gangs brutally attacked our Yazidi people in Shengal to commit genocide, our comrade Diyana felt the pain of our Yazidi people in her heart. The fact that Kurdish women were imprisoned by ISIS gangs and sold in the markets caused great anger in our comrade Diyana, like every honorable person. However, our comrade Diyana was not limited to being angry and angry, she believed that it was necessary to transform these feelings into an attitude and to fight.
Although she lost an eye as a result of an accident as a child, our comrade Diyana, who did not see this as an obstacle to fighting, joined the guerrilla ranks in Garzan in 2014. When she joined the guerrilla, she was very impressed by the life of the PKK, her comradely relations and the leading role of a free woman in this life. That’s why she realized her identity as a woman early on, felt the first feelings of being a free woman, and set “xwebûn” as her main goal. Knowing that the level of freedom of the woman determines the level of freedom of the society, she has made great efforts towards emancipation. Our comrade Diyana, who started guerrillaism in the field of Zap, tried to learn the basic principles of guerrilla life and military rules, and on the other hand, based on a deep understanding of the Women’s Liberation Ideology and Apoist philosophy.
She practiced in Zap for three years and in Xakurkê for two years. Our comrade Diyana, who has gained great experience in the practice of war and reinvented himself, has gained an important level. She took part in the actions with her determined personality and courage, and took revenge on Kurdish women in every blow she struck against the invaders. She became a team commander with the experiences he gained and the depth she gained in the Apoist ideology. She has made a great effort to realize the victory-creating command of YJA Star in his own person. She has been involved in military specialization training to gain a level in professional guerrilla and successfully practice his new term duties. She completed her specialization training with high sensitivity and exemplary participation. She moved to Zap again as a team commander in order to practice his experience and military expertise.
Our comrade Diyana returned to the Zap area, where he first learned guerrillaism, as a guerrilla commander who gained the new guerrilla formation. She spent a lot of effort to successfully implement Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism and the tactics of the new era. Our comrade Diyana, who has an exemplary stance in her claim to victory and participation, has earned the love and respect of all her comrades with her sincere and sincere stance. As a YJA Star commander, She took his duty with a high revolutionary consciousness and fulfilled it duly wherever she was responsible, from mobile teams to tunnel wars. HEBÛN DÎROK
Our comrade Hebun was born in a patriotic family in the Omeryan region of Mardin. Participation in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and martyrdom from his family and surroundings caused our comrade Hebûn to grow up with a patriotic awareness. Our comrade Hebûn, who recognized and followed the struggle for existence and freedom of the people of Kurdistan and grew up with this awareness, has always been sensitive to the suffering of his people. The capitalist order of modernity, class difference and inequality in society have led to the development of contradictions and searches in our comrade Hebun. It has brought to consciousness the fact that a free, equal and humane life can be created on the basis of these pursuits.
Physical genocide attacks, tortures and inhumane practices against the Kurdish people, especially in Bakure Kurdistan, during the 2015-2016 period prompted our comrade Hebûn to struggle. He got involved in the struggle on the basis of his patriotic feelings and the reality of the enemy he witnessed. He saw that it was not possible to stop the enemy and gain freedom just by speaking a word, and he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016. He received his first guerrilla training in Garê and participated in the practice. During the two years he gained a lot of experience of guerrilla life and learned to defend himself against enemy attacks. The colonialist genocidal Turkish state turned to Zap to hold accountable for the oppression and attacks it inflicted on the Kurdish people.
Our comrade Hebûn actively participated in the practice in the field of Zap without hesitation. His working socialist personality, sincerity, friendly approach and high morale stood out as prominent features. Our comrade Hebûn, who always attaches importance to freedom and equality and participates in the struggle for this cause, has made these measures the cornerstone of his life. From mobile teams to tunnels, he has fulfilled every duty and responsibility in Zagroslar with great love. He made an effort to embody the virtues of the Apoist ideology in his personality, based on reading and deepening the Apoist philosophy. At the same time, he was based on becoming competent in the art of military service, and made progress with his disciplined personality and quick-witted intelligence. Our comrade Hebûn, who showed a stable participation, assumed revolutionary responsibility and became a commander. Knowing that he will help his comrades more to the extent that he develops himself, he has always maintained his claim to be the commander of victory. With his exemplary command and comradeship, he succeeded in being the companion of his comrades and knew how to win the love of all his friends.
Our comrade Hebun became one of the valiant commanders who developed the epic guerrilla resistance that prevented the colonialist genocidal Turkish state from occupying the Medya Defense Zones. He shouldered this heavy and historical burden without hesitation and always maintained his claim to victory despite the great war technique of the enemy and the disproportionate war conditions. With great faith, unwavering will and unmatched effort, he showed a high combat performance in the war tunnels of Girê Hell Resistance Area. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla has stopped the invading Turkish army for months with its epic resistance despite its very limited opportunities and difficult conditions, and dragged it into a great impasse. Comrade Hebun, one of the pioneers of this resistance, commanded his comrades with his stance and courage.

SERDEM ŞOREŞ
Our comrade Serdem was born in Amed, the serhildan city of Kurdistan, to a patriotic family. Having participation from his surroundings and growing up in a city with a certain political identity like Amed, which was woven with resistance, introduced our comrade Serdem to the freedom struggle at a young age. Growing up in a political environment as a child of the oppressed Kurdish people, who face enemy pressure every day and who are exposed to the state terror of the Turkish Republic, has led to the development of a political consciousness in our comrade Serdem. With this awareness, he first participated in public serhildans and then in revolutionary youth work. In these works, he protected himself from the genocidal attacks of the enemy with great creativity and played an active and leading role.
Noticing this participation of our comrade Serdem, the Turkish state arrested our comrade and kept him in prison for a total of five years. However, this policy of the enemy did not yield any results, far from preventing our comrade Serdem from the freedom march, it further increased his belief in the cause of freedom, increased his determination, deepened his consciousness and made him more determined. He considered the prison environment as a revolution academy and participated in social work when he got out of the dungeon with the ideological equipment he gained from there. He passionately participated in social organization efforts to nullify the attacks developed by the colonialist genocidal Turkish state in order to break the organized stance of the Kurdish people, to make them disorganized and to surrender. He enlightened the consciousness of the Kurdish people in his works, it has deciphered the special war policies of the enemy on our people and has taken a significant distance in organizing the society. Our comrade Serdem, who later switched to YPS work, actively participated in the revolutionary work here, too, and when he could no longer work, he came to the mountains of Kurdistan in 2020 and joined the guerrilla ranks.
Our comrade Serdem, who has an important experience and awareness in revolutionism and managed to train and deepen his personality, adapted to the guerrilla life early. After receiving his first guerrilla training, he moved to the Zap area. Our comrade Serdem has fought against the enemy with will, word, politics, organization and YPS style. However, the Turkish state has left no means to the Kurdish people to protect their existence and ensure their freedom. Because of this, our comrade Serdem had to fight by holding onto his gun this time. Our comrade Serdem has tried all the means necessary to create a free life and has fought in all areas of struggle with firm belief in the victory of the just cause of the Kurdish people. His anger grew as he witnessed the atrocities committed by the Turkish state. Our cousin, Comrade Berivan İnci, was in Rojava in 2013,
Our comrade Serdem, who participated in the struggle in Zap, where the invasion attacks were intense, took his place in the war with great determination and stubbornness, although he did not have much experience in the military field. He set an example with his mature personality in organizational life and offered support to his comrades. With his unshakable will and belief, he was happy to fulfill his responsibility in the epic resistance of the guerrilla. Despite attacking the Apoist guerrillas with countless means and war techniques, the invading Turkish army, which could not get any results, fell into the inability to use chemical weapons in a treacherous manner. Despite using many kinds of banned bombs and chemical weapons against the resistance positions and tunnels for months, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla could not overcome the resistance wall built by the Apoist will. Our comrade Serdem, He exhibited a self-sacrificing resistance, which history rarely witnessed, in the war tunnels of Girê Hell Resistance Area, and died as a martyr together with his four comrades as a result of the chemical weapons attack. The breathless revolution march of our comrade Serdem will illuminate our path to victory and will set an example for all the youth of Kurdistan, especially the youth of Amed.”
