BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center gave the following information about the 4 guerrillas who were martyred in the Zap:
“On June 21, 2022, our comrades Tîrêj, Şaho, Şahin and Dara, who were the leading commanders of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, who displayed a historical resistance against the enemy attacks in different areas of Zap, Çemço, and did not allow the enemy to pass through with this resistance, reached martyrdom. These valuable Apoist militants, who did not allow the enemy to pass and fear the enemy with their actions, have become exemplary representatives of our line of struggle in the Avaşîn and Zap areas, where the colonial Turkish state has been intensely heading since 2021 to occupy Bashure Kurdisan. As their comrades, Tîrêj, Şaho, Şahin and Dara will always take the line of struggle of our comrades as an example for ourselves.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our heroic martyrs Tîrêj, Şaho, Şahin and Dara.

TÎRÊJ DIJWAR
Our comrade Tîrêj Dijwar was born in Dêrgulê in Sirnex. He grew up with his patriotic family in Cizîr and was brought up with the ancient culture and patriotism of the Botî tribe. Our comrade Tîrêj, who constantly felt the enemy’s pressure and witnessed it with his own eyes, was also affected by the patriotism of the environment he grew up in. Our Party recognized the PKK when his father was arrested by the Turkish state and put in prison. Every time he went to the dungeon, he saw the prison insurgents imprisoned by the genocidal Turkish state, and as he saw the treatment of the enemy, his hatred and anger towards this state grew. He saw that this situation can only be overcome by fighting against the enemy, and he participated in youth work with this awareness and anger. Again, he was exposed to enemy pressure and taken into custody. He could not bear this situation any longer,
Our comrade Tîrêj took a step towards guerrillaism in the field of Metîna and practiced in Qaşûra. He learned how to walk along the lines of the PKK and based on owning a march on the basis of what he believed in. On the basis of devotion to the martyrs, he determined to walk with a life of comradeship until the end as his main goal. Knowing that joining the PKK makes his life very meaningful and that whoever wins in life will also win in war, he is based on joining the PKK. The PKK approached with the awareness that life itself and every moment of it is an education in itself. Our comrade Tîrêj, who is very angry with the enemy, has focused on a deep consciousness-based education for long-term revolutionism, that emotional commitment can only take a person so far. On this basis, he gave importance to educating himself in Apoist ideology and philosophy.
After four years of practice, he moved to the academy in order to receive training on the basis of the command style of the period, to account for the practical process and to further deepen himself in the party line. Our comrade Tîrêj, who achieved a significant level of concentration in the academy and questioned himself, aimed to complete this concentration with military specialization training and become a professional guerrilla of the new era. With the training he received, he moved to Zagroslar as one of the leading commander candidates who took responsibility for the restructuring process of HPG. Our comrade Tîrêj, who deepened in Apoist militancy, assumed responsibility until the command of the team, the team and the last mobile unit and participated in the practice. As a professional guerrilla, he practiced the heavy weapon tactic with great creativity and carried out many successful actions. In 2021, he took part as a column commander in the action against the invaders in Girê Martyr Munzur in the Ciloyê Biçûk area, and raised his arms by going to the funeral of the invaders. He participated in and coordinated numerous actions in Avaşîn and Zap. He became one of the exemplary commanders of the period, who successfully implemented and pioneered the mobile team war style, which was the dominant tactic of the period.
Our comrade Tîrêj, the precious son of the people of Botan, has managed to become one of the symbolic commanders of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign with his Apoist militant stance, comradeship, courage in the war, tactical creativity and command. He was martyred in the enemy attack in Zap on 21 June. We promise that we will take revenge by walking in the footsteps of this valiant commander, who won the great love and respect of all his comrades, and we will definitely achieve his goals.

ŞAHO QENDIL
Our comrade Şaho was born in Seyîd Sadiq, in the city of Halabja in Bashure Kurdistan. He grew up in a patriotic family that lived deep in the ancient Kurdish culture, as the child of a people who paid a price. The deep patriotic awareness in his family also affected the personality of our comrade Şaho. He was brought up in a working and honest family, living with strong social morality. One of his older brothers chose to serve his country by joining the peshmerga. Our comrade Şaho, who grew up with the traces of the massacres and cruelties perpetrated by the Saddam regime against the people of Halabja, has always been interested in the cause of freedom of his people.
The Turkish state’s invasion attack on Afrin caused a great reaction among the entire Kurdish people as well as angered the people of Bashure Kurdistan. Many young people from Bashurê Kurdistan joined the Resistance of the Age for mobilization. Our comrade Şaho, like many Kurdish youth, sought to fight against the invading Turkish state. He saw that the place where he could fight the Turkish state most effectively was the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. On this very meaningful day, on the anniversary of the massacre of our people of Halabja by chemical weapons, on March 16, 2018, he joined the guerrilla ranks. By coinciding with his participation in the guerrilla on a very meaningful day, he started his revolutionary life on the basis of avenging his people.
Our comrade Shaho, who feels the pain of his people in the depths of his heart, joined our Party PKK with strong national feelings. He was greatly influenced by the life, sitting and standing and demeanor of the guerrillas he first saw. Witnessing the comradely relations between the guerrillas, the measures of freedom and the strong position of Kurdish women in the PKK, she saw how correct her choice was. As he read and understood the Apoist philosophy and ideology, he saw that the PKK was not only a movement of revenge and struggle, but also a place to create a new and free life. The more she got to know the PKK, the more she became attached, and the more her loyalty deepened, the stronger she became.
Our comrade Şaho, who started his guerrilla activities in the Garê area, made early progress with his hardworking personality and unwavering participation. Our comrade Shaho, who has a moral, enthusiastic and enthusiastic participation, learned the guerrilla life quickly and adapted to the mountain life. He took great interest in professional guerrilla and made great efforts to specialize. On this basis, our comrade Şaho, who entered the military specialty academy, became an expert assassin. Our comrade Şaho, who loves his weapon and always seeks to deepen in tactics, has been impatiently waiting for the day when the greatest enemy of our people, the Turkish state, will come to strike and avenge our people.
When the invading Turkish state launched an attack on Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna areas with the aim of occupying Bashure Kurdistan in 2021, our comrade Şaho took action to stop the invasion attack of the enemy by taking up arms. He fought against the enemy with great grudge and anger and took part in many actions. Our comrade Şaho, a faithful, determined, brave and intelligent revolutionary, showed a strong combat performance. Like all his comrades, he participated recklessly to prevent the lands of Bashure Kurdistan, liberated by the martyrdom of hundreds of thousands of Kurdish people and their decades-long struggle, from being occupied. By taking a leading role in the war against the occupation, it played its historical role and gained the love and respect of all its comrades.
Our comrade Şaho fell martyr in the enemy attack that took place in Zap’s Çemço Resistance Area on June 21. Our comrade Şaho, who was martyred by fighting heroically in the ranks of the guerrilla, went down in the history of our people’s freedom as a brave, valuable and valiant son of the people of Bashurê Kurdistan. Our comrade Şaho was a real heroic commander who became nationalized by adopting the Apoist paradigm with his strong patriotism, love for his people, and anger towards the enemy and occupation. His esteemed patriotic family and the people of Bashure Kurdistan cannot be proud of such a heroic and nationally conscious son. The nationalized personality, patriotism, devotion to his country and great heroism of our comrade Şaho are a call to all the youth of Bashure Kurdistan to fight against the invaders.

ŞAHIN BARAN
Our comrade Şahin was born in a patriotic family belonging to the Sipêrtî tribe in the Sîlopî district of Şirnex. He was named after the great hero of the Kurdish people, Comrade Agit, by his family, and was brought up in the culture of his tribe and patriotic environment. The growth of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle with the national values created, introduced our comrade Şahin to the reality of struggle early on, and brought him together with his own identity. He studied in Turkish public schools for 9 years, but after a while he realized that what he was taught was the fictional history of the sovereigns, and that the history of his people was completely ignored. That’s why he left the school of the enemy and started to work in order to make a living with his own labor. He worked as an operator and helped his family economically.
Being aware of the struggle for existence and freedom of the Kurdish people, our comrade Şahin has sought to contribute to this struggle and to fulfill his responsibilities as a Kurdish youth. On this basis, he started revolutionary youth work and participated in many youth actions with great courage. Our comrade Şahin, who was exposed to the pressure of the enemy, thus got to know the reality of the enemy much better. The martyrdom of his uncle’s son further increased the anger of our comrade Şahin against the enemy and brought him to a crossroads. It has decided to join the Kurdistan mountains and the guerrilla ranks, where the revenge of our martyrs from the enemy and the suffering inflicted on our people can be taken in the strongest way. On this basis, he joined the guerrilla ranks in Botan.
The PKK was greatly influenced by the communal culture in its life, comradely relations, the courage of criticism and self-criticism among comrades, and living together with nature in the mountains. He himself stated that the PKK showed him the truth of the world, the truth of its people and its own truth, and purified the dirt of the system. He felt that participating in the free life of the guerrilla liberated him, and stated that living by speaking in his own language without denying his own identity was a little liberation. Our comrade Şahin, who joined the guerrilla life with this feeling and awareness, is based on self-sacrifice and labor. He learned guerrillaism during the war process in Zap, and trained himself by facing the reality of the enemy every day.
Our comrade Şahin, who wholeheartedly believes in the aim of professionalizing the guerrilla, has been included in military specialization training in order to bring himself to this level. He evaluated the education process positively and completed it with great determination. The martyrdom of our comrade Serdem Pir (Adem Aytis) in 2018 in Xakurkê further increased our comrade’s anger towards the enemy and his determination to avenge the martyrs. Our comrade Şahin, who moved back to Zap as a guerrilla specializing in medium automatic weapons, joined the practice here without hesitation. He knew how to protect himself against all the attacks of the enemy, from the air and from the ground, and continued his work with great sensitivity. Today, the infrastructure of the war, which provides the ground for the biggest blows to the enemy in Zap, He had a great effort in preparing the battle positions and tunnels. Our comrade Şahin, who won the appreciation of his comrades with his sincere, enthusiastic and self-sacrificing participation, took his place in the mobile guerrilla teams in the comprehensive invasion attack against Zap. He put his rich knowledge, which he learned and transformed into experience, into practice with the mobile team war style and became one of the Apoist Fedayeen militants who pioneered the resistance in 2022.

DARA XELILA
Our comrade Dara was born in a patriotic family in the Perwarî district of Sêrt. As a member of the Xelîla tribe, which is known for its patriotism in the region, he grew up in a family environment with his participation in the freedom struggle and martyrs. Our comrade Dara, who has known the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle since his childhood, has always been sympathetic to the freedom cause of his people. The participation of his brother and uncles also affected our comrade Dara and strengthened his search for freedom. Our comrade Dara, who earns a living in the society with her labor and stands on her feet with her own efforts, has attained a mature personality. The colonialist genocidal Turkish state’s development of extensive attacks on the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement on July 24, 2015, within the framework of its Collapsing Plan, caused great anger among our comrade Dara. He saw that these comprehensive attacks, which are trying to bring our people through genocide, can only be answered with an effective guerrilla struggle. Our comrade Dara, who joined the guerrilla ranks with this belief, received his first training in the Garê area and started practice.
He was greatly influenced by the majesty of the Kurdistan mountains, the camaraderie of the PKK members, their style, lifestyle and stance. Our comrade Dara, who is based on participating in the free life of the guerrilla with his whole being, has made early progress. He saw the beauty of communal life in the PKK and on this basis aimed to deepen himself in education. Comrade Dara, who is a conscious Apoist militant, has won the great love of his comrades with his sincere, honest and self-sacrificing participation. Our comrade Dara, who bases his life on becoming a PKK member and mastering the war, received military training at the operational school and made himself competent. Our comrade Dara, who has always prepared herself strongly to successfully practice her term duties, moved to the Zap field in 2018.
Our comrade Dara, who participated in the active struggle in Zap, took a great responsibility both in life and in the war. Our comrade Dara, who tries to fulfill every task that falls on him with great seriousness, has always aimed to be successful in every work. It has made progress on the battlefield with its stable participation and determined stance. He embodied the virtues of the Apoist militant personality in his personality and acquired the characteristics of command. He won the love and respect of his comrades with his stance, participation, comradeship and courage in the face of the enemy. He took part in the construction of infrastructure, positions and tunnels, which is a very important dimension of the war. He had a self-sacrificing participation by putting great effort and sweating. Our comrade Dara also took an active part in the resistance developed against the comprehensive invasion attack that developed on April 14, 2022. As a valuable, valiant son of the people of Botan, he fought selflessly for the cause of freedom of his people, making all kinds of sacrifices. She was martyred in the attack of the enemy on June 21. We promise that we will always keep the memory of our comrade Dara, who left an indelible mark in our struggle with his sincerity, self-sacrifice, seriousness, courage and great comradeship, and that we will certainly achieve his goals.”
