“Our comrades Diren, Adar and Dicle, who firmly adhered to Leader Apo’s ideology of freedom and went to the mountains of Kurdistan and made their hearts a bulwark for the freedom of women and our people, fought heroically until their last breath in the conflict with the invading Turkish army on September 20, 2022, and reached martyrdom without compromising our Party’s culture of resistance. .
Today, when the most brutal attacks in history are carried out against women and resisting peoples, the women of Kurdistan, who have enlightened their consciousness with Leader Apo’s ideology and flowed into the ranks of the struggle, are responding to these attacks with the noblest resistance in history. YJA Star guerrillas, who are fighting on the summits of Kurdistan mountains to make the 21st century the century of women and resisting peoples by fighting against the nation-state mentality that wants to maintain male-dominated power by deepening female slavery, are a source of inspiration and strength for women all over the world today.
Our comrades Diren, Adar and Dicle, who gave hope to women and peoples with their struggle, had a self-sacrificing march in Amed as the leading commanders of YJA Star. These valiant women commanders have left their marks on our history of struggle with determined freedom marches and have become today’s symbols of the women’s freedom struggle that has reached its peak.
We promise that our commanders Diren, Adar and Dicle, who will be taken as an example by all freedom lovers with their insistent stance in freedom, will certainly carry the revolutionary task handed over to our comrades to victory with the responsibility of being worthy of them, and we express our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially their valuable families.

Our comrade Resistance was born in Elbak and grew up in a patriotic family and environment that adheres to the culture of resistance. Our people of Elbak, who have taken a determined stance against the occupation and the occupier since the first periods when our Freedom Struggle became a people by integrating with the oppressed society, and sent hundreds of valiant children to the ranks of the struggle, never made any concessions from their resistance character. Our people, who have responded to enemy attacks by tightening their ranks, have opened a new page in the history of oppressed peoples by creating a strong serhildan tradition. Our comrade Diren, who grew up in the patriotic tradition created by our struggle, had the chance to get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from an early age. As a result of the intense pressure of the invading Turkish state, she had to migrate to Wan with her family, closely witnessed the oppression and cruelty of the invaders. Our comrade Diren, who has a great anger against the colonial Turkish state, grew up by taking part in the serhildans. The active participation of her close family in our struggle and the martyrdom of his two uncles as a result of the honorable resistance they waged in the guerrilla ranks enabled our comrade Diren to follow and recognize our people’s cause of freedom more closely.
As a young and honorable Kurdish woman, our comrade Diren, who came to know Leader Apo’s philosophy of freedom, never accepted the servile life imposed on women by the capitalist system, and began to equip herself with the idea of freedom. The capitalist system, frightened by Leader Apo’s ideology of freedom that spread in waves, wanted to destroy the hope of freedom of the oppressed peoples by developing the 15 February International Conspiracy. Our comrade Diren, who closely followed this process and did not remain silent in the face of the extermination attacks imposed on our Leader and our people, decided to join the guerrilla ranks in 1999 and showed his determination to selflessly walk in the line of Leader Apo, like millions of honorable Kurds. Our comrade, who could not join the guerrilla due to his young age, never gave up on this decision. Our comrade Resist has improved himself by reading and researching in this process, and has actively participated in the resistance of our people by taking part in studies. Our comrade Diren, who never betrayed her dreams of freedom, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2003 and passionately assumed the identity of the Kurdish resistance woman created by Leader Apo’s philosophy.
Our comrade Diren, who joined the ranks of the struggle at a time when the surrender and liquidation attacks imposed on our Kurdistan Freedom Struggle were at their peak, she defended Leader Apo’s line of struggle with a confident and militant march. As a determined militant loyal to the leadership, she took great responsibilities in the most difficult times, became the comrade of comrades and successfully fulfilled her pioneering role. After her successful guerrilla practice in Qendil and Zap, she became a commander and moved to the Zagros area and took her place in the forefront of many actions under the command of Martyr Rojîn Gevda, one of our leading commanders, in our war against the invaders. She actively and pioneered participated in the Revolutionary People’s War in 2011. Our comrade Diren, who was an indomitable defender of the party line with his ideological and military experience, recreated herself with the Party Hearth education she received and succeeded in becoming one of the leading commanders of the new era. Our comrade Diren, who hadgreat experience in life and war, is a competent YJA Star commander and a strong PAJK militant by deepening in the Ideology of Women’s Freedom, moved to Amed area in 2011 and started to carry out his struggle in Bakur Kurdistan. Our comrade Diren, who proved himself once again in the tough guerrilla practice carried out in Bakur Kurdistan, has led an uninterrupted war for many years and has made an unforgettable place for herself in our history of struggle. She assumed duties and responsibilities during the Self-Management resistance process. Our comrade Diren, who organized many actions, personally participated and helped the invading Turkish army be dealt heavy blows, has been in our Amed YJA Star command for years.
Our comrade Diren, who struggled in the most difficult conditions and in the most difficult areas by integrating with the guerrilla life, has always kept the sacred comradeship of the PKK alive with the strong ties of comradeship she has established; She has been a source of inspiration to all her comrades with her sincere, hardworking and enthusiastic participation. Our comrade Diren, who took responsibility for every moment of her 19-year guerrilla life by taking part in the most difficult areas of our struggle, recently took part in the Amed State administration and became the leading commander of the new era of guerrillaism in Bakur Kurdistan. ADAR AMED
Our comrade Adar was born in 1990 in Pasûr district of Amed. She opened her eyes to the world in a patriotic family connected to his social culture. Martyr Abdullah Ay, the father of our comrade Adar, was shot dead by the contras in 1992. Even though our comrade Adar had a fatherless childhood, she grew up by personally experiencing the social reality of his father’s martyrdom, the genocidal policy of his people, the attacks of Kurdish patriotism, that we as a people can only achieve our existence and freedom through a tough struggle. Our comrade Adar recognized the reality of the enemy at an early age. The pain inflicted on her family and people has turned into a strong consciousness in her. Our comrade, whose personality matured early with this awareness, has also become a Kurdish woman with strong pursuits, indomitable will and strong character.
Although she was a successful student in Turkish public schools, she saw that these schools did not serve anything but assimilation and genocide of our people. Comrade Adar, who participated in the patriotic revolutionary youth work, became a young Kurdish woman who led the struggle early with her emotional heart, clear consciousness and determination to fight. She had a great effort in the organization of the youth of Kurdistan and the people of Amed to rise to the serhildan.
Our comrade Adar, whose love for struggle, determination and excitement was constantly growing, wanted to carry his struggle to the mountains after a while and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2008 in Amed, where she was born and raised. She started guerrilla activities in Amed province and learned mountain life there. She made an early progress in guerrillaism with the revolutionary consciousness, culture and strong morality and personality she acquired from his family while she was in youth work. She tried to embody the feelings of anger and revenge that accumulated in his heart against the genocidal enemy on the basis of a strong practice and competent guerrilla. Between 2008 and 2014, one of the toughest years in our history of struggle, she fought uninterruptedly in Amed. Even though our comrade Adar faced very difficult obstacles and impossibilities during the 6-year Bakur guerrilla process, she was able to overcome all difficulties as a Kurdish woman who gained a significant level in liberation and became Apoist. In this sense, it has become a YJA Star guerrilla who has a strong will, never gives up in the face of difficulties, and always knows how to create a way out. Since our comrade Adar knows that competent revolutionism can only be practiced with a strong ideological consciousness, she has taken it as a basis to deepen in Apoist ideology and philosophy.
Our comrade Adar, who moved to the Medya Defense Zones in 2014, was educated at the Martyr Bêrîtan Academy, our free women’s military academy, and passed on her years of experience to her comrades. At the same time, she questioned her current practice on the basis of the Apoist line and the guerrilla tactics of the period, and made the conclusions she draws the steps of her strong practice that she would carry out later. With his high achievement claim and strong belief in victory, she served as a YJA Star commander and commanded in different areas. In order to transfer her experience to her comrades, to train them and to develop herself on the basis of the new period guerrilla style-tactic, Martyr Rojîn joined the training at the Gewda Operations School.
Our comrade Adar has completed all her education processes with great faith, concentration, revolutionary consciousness and claim to victory. On this basis, she turned her face to Bakur Kurdistan and passed as a competent YJA Star commander to Amed, where she was born, grew up and was a guerrilla. Comrade Adar, who has been practicing for four years, has undertaken an important role and mission at the level of the regional command in Amed province. As a leading YJA Star commander, she has earned the love and respect of all her comrades with her camaraderie, sincerity, free-woman measures and virtues of being a member of the PKK. He knew how to hit the genocidal enemy by overcoming every difficulty, and participated in many actions with his high courage and became a veteran of successful actions.
Since the day he was born, as a child of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, Comrade Adar, who opened her eyes to life, waged a breathless revolutionary struggle, became a guerrilla, became a commander and reached the rank of heroic martyrdom, became one of the valiant YJA Star commanders of Amed. Our comrade Adar’s devotion to the Leader and the martyrs, stable march of revolution, love of freedom, determination to struggle, sincere comradeship and competent command is an exemplary march that will always guide us comrades. We are proud to be the comrade of such an honorable and valiant commander and we promise to display a comradeship worthy of his memory. The struggle life and truth of our comrade Adar is also a call to all Kurdistan youth and women, especially the youth and women of Amed, to join and grow the struggle for freedom.

The Haruni tribe, as an ancient and patriotic tribe of Botan, has always stood against the genocidal policies of the colonial enemy and struggled to protect their Kurdishness. With our Kurdistan Freedom Struggle entering the Botan area and starting the process of armed struggle against Turkish fascism, this valuable tribe has become integrated with our Movement, which has taken a stand for freedom. Our valuable Haruni tribe, which sent many of its precious children to the ranks of freedom, has become a tribe that the whole Kurdistan society will take as an example with this stance.
Our comrade Dicle, who was born in a family belonging to such a valuable tribe, has acquired the basic characteristics of the society she belongs to and has grown up in a way that is true to herself. The family of our comrade Dicle had to migrate to the metropolises because of the village burnings that the enemy implemented to depopulate the entire Kurdistan, especially the Botan region. She grew up with the awareness that the most meaningful response to these genocidal policies of the enemy is loyalty to the freedom struggle and Kurdish values, and he has nullified the enemy’s genocidal policies. Our comrade Dicle, who was aware of the fact that it is not enough to just protect one’s essence against enemy policies and that real defense can be made by fighting, has been involved in many studies, especially culture-arts and women’s studies. Thus, she has been in struggle since her youth. In these processes, the enemy had the opportunity to understand and raise her reality more to consciousness. Our comrade Dicle, who was in a constant struggle, has experienced deep concentrations on the requirements of the period and the questions of how the existing struggle can be enlarged. In these concentrations, she saw that there are always certain limits to struggle within the existing system. At the same time, she closely followed the epic struggles of the freedom guerrillas and the martyrdom in the mountains of Kurdistan and was impressed by the sacrifices made by our heroic martyrs for the freedom of our people. On this basis, our comrade Dicle, with the awareness of the concentration she has experienced and the responsibilities that the process has imposed on her as a Kurdish woman,
When she joined the guerrilla ranks, comrade Tigris first attracted the attention of our comrade Dicle, as did many of our Leader’s comrades whom she feeds on from the spring of freedom. The Party and mountain life shaped by the PKK comradeship, where mutual respect and deep love are experienced, also deeply affected our comrade Tigris. She also wanted to be a part of these comradely relations and the life created with the labor of thousands of our martyrs, and she had a great effort for this. As she joined life and became integrated with her comrades, she made certain inferences about the life of the PKK and came to the conclusion that the mystery of this life can only be understood by living in it. This inference, which expresses a truth, has also been an indicator of the level of concentration reached by our comrade Dicle.
Our comrade Dicle also experienced deep concentrations in order to create our Leader’s Women’s Freedom Ideology and its principles in her personality. Every time she read about the leadership, she went through some changes in herself and this change has taken firm steps towards becoming a free woman by making the transformations permanent. Each time, she felt the excitement of learning something new and the effect of these learnings on liberating him from the changes in her life.
Our comrade Dicle has always been in the press to educate herself in the military sense as well as in the ideological sense. She acted with the awareness that being worthy of the martyrs and our Leader is only possible by realizing their dreams and thoughts. It has always turned its face to the hot battlefields with the fact that this can happen with a sacrificial struggle against the enemy. During his 12-year guerrilla life, our comrade Dicle has been the owner of a breathless struggle stretching from Botan to Amed, from there to the Medya Defense Zones and again to Amed. She tried to be worthy of the efforts of our martyrs and our Leader by staying in the most difficult war practices in these areas. Our comrade Dicle, who was aware of the fact that her responsibilities increase in every task she took.
Our comrade Dicle participated in the works as the regional commander in Amed, where she was last, and as a pioneer YJA Star commander, she tried to respond to the freedom expectations of women and our people. On this basis, she spent every moment concentrating on struggling more and tried to respond to expectations. In the enemy attack that took place on September 20, 2022, she experienced the peak of her 12-year resistance, reached martyrdom and joined the caravan of immortals.
