BEHDÎNAN – In a written statement, the HPG press center said that a five-person guerrilla team was attacked by reconnaissance planes in the Balisan Valley. Noting that 3 guerrillas Şehid were killed and 2 injured, the HPG press center stated that the incident should be investigated.
The explanation is as follows:
“On the evening of September 5, a 5-person guerrilla team was attacked by drones as they were walking towards another area in the countryside near the village of Tarava in the Balisan Valley. In this group are our hevals Rêzan Botan, Armanc Zilan, Karo Kobanê, Aşikar Colemêrg and Zanyar Tavê. According to the information we received, three of our Hevals were falling Şehid and two of our Hevals were injured in the attack. It became known that KDP forces intervened at the crime scene right after the attack and took away our wounded Hevals. We currently do not know which of our Hevals of this group was falling Şehid and which are injured.
It is clear that in this area, which is not a hot war zone, the reconnaissance plane suddenly came and hit a group wandering in the area at night, showing that our Hevals were being pursued by a highly organized intelligence system. Also of note are the shots heard by residents of the surrounding village as KDP troops entered the area.
It is clear that this event is an event that needs to be investigated and clarified. At this point, information from our injured Hevals will also have an important place in clarifying how this event took place.
Because of this, we expect our Hevals captured by KDP forces to be returned to us as soon as possible.”
