“Our comrade Kemal Pir was born in a patriotic family in the village of Qeregivîj in the Qereyazî district of Erzirom. Due to the patriotic nature of his family, he started to get to know our Party at a younger age. Therefore, patriotic and revolutionary feelings begin to develop from childhood. After staying with his family for a while, our comrade Kemal, who went to Turkish metropolises to study, begins to understand the colonialist Turkish state’s view of the Kurdish people better and sees the reality of the enemy more clearly. The hostile approach of the Turkish state against our people, the denial of our people as a whole, and their efforts to destroy the developing search for freedom on the basis of destruction were the main factors that prompted our comrade Kemal to struggle. On this basis, our comrade Kemal, who first stepped into the life of struggle with youth work in 2005-2006, gradually begins to get to know and understand the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle more closely. Our comrade Kemal, who has a consistent personality, is based on putting what he understands into practice immediately. For this, the deeper the struggle in its ranks, the more it enlarged its struggle. However, following in the footsteps of his comrades fighting in the mountains of Kurdistan and guerrilla activities like them became his greatest passion. Although he wanted to realize this dream in 2008, he got involved in city studies again due to needs. Our comrade Kemal, who has been fighting with a great Apoist will in cities where the enemy is more dominant, acted professionally and carried out actions in which heavy blows were dealt to the enemy in many cities, especially in Turkish metropolises. He always asked for the account of the torture, massacre and arrests carried out by the enemy against our people, and in this sense, he played an important role in the development of our people’s self-defense awareness.
The fascist Turkish state, which shows its hostility to the Kurds at every opportunity, cannot and cannot prevent the truth seekers who dedicate their brains and hearts to this cause. Our comrade Kemal is one of our comrades whom the fascist enemy is trying to prevent this search and struggle. Even though he was imprisoned twice in the dungeons of the Turkish Republic, our comrade Kemal embraced the struggle without paying any attention to the obstacles and tortures of the enemy, and continued to carry on his fight for the free future of the people of Kurdistan, growing stronger with each passing day. Most recently, as soon as he came out of the dungeons of the Turkish Republic, he gave his direction to the freedom ranks, the mountains, which are the fields of active struggle. Now, he actively continues his struggle, which he started in the cities, in the mountains of Kurdistan, like the valiant and brave sons of his country.
From the first moment he joined the struggle, our friend Kemal ran every work with great self-sacrifice and eagerly; With a sense of responsibility, he has struggled to successfully carry out every work he has taken into his hands. Comrade Kemal, who took his name from Kemal Pîr, one of the great prison resisters and one of the leading cadres of our party, has always aimed to have a Kemalist stance and personality throughout his life. She joined Hêzên Taybet in 2015 with the awareness and determination that she would provide a participation equivalent to this goal, and started to keep the Kemals’ self-sacrificing stance alive and practical. Our friend Kemal, who lives on the basis of Rêber Apo’s statement that ‘Comradeship is getting your share of the truth represented’, Throughout his life of struggle, he was one of those who knew how to get his share of this truth and succeeded in creating a great spirituality in his comrades. Like Kemals, one of the leading cadres of our party, he was a comrade who was ready to give his life for his party, his cause and his comrades at any moment and had no hesitation in this matter. At the same time, while walking in the footsteps of Kemals, he aimed to be a great commander like him and succeeded in becoming one of the leading commanders of the new era. Our comrade Kemal, who has been working in the field of Metina for about two years, has achieved great success with his working style and pace, and has not lost the trust of his comrades and our Party. Our comrade Kemal, who, as a leader of Leader Apo, never accepted the intense torture and isolation on our Leader, and did not allow this to become normal in his environment, He offered to go to Bakure Kurdistan in order to break this severe torture and isolation and to liberate our Leader physically, and he insisted on this proposal. But later on, he stayed in the Media Defense Areas for the different needs of our Party and, as befits an Apoist militant, he embraced his work with all his heart and struggled selflessly and with great effort to be successful.
Our friend Kemal, one of the soldiers of the Hêzên Taybet, has always continued his walk with the struggle and effort of being able to live and fight selflessly. From the moment he first stepped into the party to the moment he reached martyrdom, he raised his brain and heart with this ideology, based on living with the ideology of Leader Apo. Knowing to live every moment like a PKK member, he made an effort to create it in every environment he was in, and knew how to be one of those who live and keep it alive.
Our comrade Kendal was born and raised in Osmaniye as a member of a family from Riha Pirsûs. The immigration of his family to Turkish cities could not prevent our comrade Kendal from preserving his own essence and national characteristics. Although the genocidal Turkish state hopes for help that the Kurdish people will be forced to migrate to Turkish cities and be assimilated there, our people can preserve and keep their essence and culture alive in every environment thanks to their thousands of years of rooted culture. Our comrade Kendal grew up in a family with such deep-rooted cultural values. Since he came from a working family, he acquired the characteristics of a worker, and in this way he managed to stand on his own feet. Our comrade, who always stands out with his talent and creativity, studied medicine at the university. He got to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle during his university years and was involved in the studies. Comrade Kendal, who is known for his deep understanding and sensitive stance against social problems, did not remain silent in the face of the policy of denial and annihilation against our people, and consciously participated in the Apoist resistance by rejecting the so-called possibilities offered by the system. While he was working, he read the Leadership’s defenses and further developed the existing level of consciousness. While he was in youth work, he impressed his friends around him with his energetic nature and self-sacrifice, and helped them meet our struggle for freedom. Although he is successful in the works he carries out, he is aware that these works are not an answer to our people’s demands for freedom. For this, he started to look for ways to fight more.

Being aware of the responsibilities of joining the guerrilla ranks in the year our Revolutionary People’s War began, our comrade Kendal took the name of his uncle’s son, martyr Kendal, who was martyred in the Qileban field in 2007, and took the first step in the freedom struggle with devotion to the martyrs. During his training, new fighters wanted to learn all the details of guerrilla life with the excitement of starting a new life, his curiosity increased as he learned, and he began to reach the secret of guerrilla and mountain life step by step. He understood that what makes the mountain and the guerrilla beautiful and attractive is the bond of comradeship formed by the hearts beating for the same purpose. Because of this, he became more and more attached to his comrades every day. Our comrade Kendal has made great efforts to go to the fronts where the hot war is intense, for this, he trained himself militarily and managed to become a competent guerrilla. He always wanted to be on the hot war front and insisted on realizing this dream. Our comrade Kendal, who has a great knowledge and experience in the field of medicine, has been involved in health studies. With his sensitive approach in health studies, his love for his comrades as well as his medical knowledge, he healed the wounds and diseases of his comrades. Thanks to his successful practices in the field of health, he has now become Doctor Kendal in the eyes of his comrades. His heart has always been with his comrades who fought on the fronts, and he felt them at every moment. He moved to Xakurkê, Zap and Avaşîn areas in order to intervene more quickly and on the spot, especially when the war was intense. With the comfort of being closer to his comrades who were fighting in the positions here, he carried out his work successfully and despite the difficult conditions of the guerrilla, he treated many of his comrades and ensured that they regained their health. Our comrade Kendal has won the love and respect of all his comrades with his comradely approach and humble stance as well as his success in his work, and has managed to become an exemplary Apoist militant.”
