“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues its war against the colonial Turkish state for the honorable future of our people with a thousand and one sacrifices today, as it has in every period of our freedom struggle. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which showed an epic resistance against the enemy’s uninterrupted attacks for 7 years, succeeded in nullifying the enemy’s destruction plans. Maintaining its strong-willed and uncompromising stance against the enemy under all conditions, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla has put the enemy in a great impasse. Undoubtedly, this epic resistance that opens the doors of a free and honorable future to our people is thanks to the great sacrifices of our heroic martyrs.
Our comrades Masîro, Rojhat, Kawa and Rosîda were also among our comrades who inflicted heavy blows on the enemy with their great sacrifices in the field of Wan. These valuable comrades, who insist on their stance of freedom under all circumstances, died in the enemy attacks in Kato Marinos area on August 8, 2022.
We express our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the valuable families of our comrades Masîro, Rojhat, Kawa and Rosîda, with the promise that we will crown our struggle with victory under the leadership of these esteemed comrades who illuminated us as a torch in the freedom struggle of our people.

With the emergence of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement as the resistance of the honorable future of our oppressed people, it spread rapidly to all areas of Kurdistan and was greeted with serhildans by our people. The Botan region was one of the first areas where our guerrilla struggle started and integrated with the people, and the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla grew with mass participation. The will of freedom and the fighting nature of our Botan people were targeted by the invading Turkish state and tried to be broken with attacks of denial and destruction. In addition to physical attacks, our people have been forcibly removed from their lands where they have lived for millennia by being condemned to poverty. Hundreds of thousands of our patriotic families had to migrate to Turkey’s metropolises and many different cities by immigrating from the ancient lands where they had strong ties with nature.
Our comrade Masîro was born and grew up in a patriotic family that had to migrate to Wan as a result of pressure from Silopia, one of the resistance centers of Botan, and participated in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and was martyred. Our comrade, who has been in the struggle from an early age and had the chance to get to know him closely, has never bowed to the oppression and attacks of the invading Turkish state, and has always maintained his resistance personality. As an honorable Kurdish youth, our comrade Masîro became clear in Leader Apo’s line of freedom at an early age and took his place in the organized resistance by participating in youth work. While he was working in Wan, he traveled from house to house, neighborhood to neighborhood, and successfully carried out the organization of our people and Wan youth, and duly fulfilled his pioneering mission. Our comrade, who was exposed to the attacks of the invading Turkish state during the works, was detained many times and faced with state terrorism. Comrade Masîro, who did not stop his work despite all the pressures and attacks, showed once again that he would never bow to the invaders by raising his struggle.
Our comrade Masîro, who has increased his knowledge and experience with his works, has brought to consciousness the fact that our people will not be able to carry their struggle to victory unless they develop a strong self-defense along the lines of the PKK, and has decided to join the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, the main self-defense force of our people. He joined the guerrilla ranks in 2013 and successfully completed his basic guerrilla training. Comrade Masîro, who soon became integrated with the guerrilla life that he joined with great enthusiasm, had the chance to test what he learned in practice by first moving to the Zap area and then to the Xakurkê area. Our comrade, who specializes in guerrillaism with his successful work in both fields, has always been in an effort to have a greater and stronger participation. In Leader Apo’s philosophy, Our comrade Masîro, who constantly reads and researches in order to deepen in the truth of martyrs and in the line of the PKK, has gained a great deal of knowledge at a young age and is based on enriching what he has learned by sharing it with his comrades. He has been one of our comrades who became very angry at the genocidal attacks against our people from Rojava to Shengal, from Kirkuk to Maxmur during the 2014-2015 period and insistently suggested him to protect the existence of our people. Comrade Masîro, who took his place in the forefront of the first groups of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which took action at the request of our people, fought selflessly against ISIS gangs that are hostile to humanity. Our comrade who made great efforts to save our Yazidi people from genocide in Shengal.

Our comrade Masîro, who had a will of steel in the practical processes he participated in and specialized in guerrilla tactics, moved to the Wan field, which he had dreamed of throughout his guerrilla life and which he constantly suggested to go. Comrade Masîro, who specialized in the modern guerrilla tactics of the new era and adapted to the field in a short time as a leading commander, led his comrades with his experience and took part in many actions that dealt heavy blows to the invaders. Our comrade, who, with his creative personality, always finds and implements appropriate solutions under the most difficult conditions, has become a source of trust for his comrades in every environment he is in. His militant stance on the line of life and comradeship, his anger that turned into action against the occupiers has always enabled him to demonstrate an exemplary practice.
The line of resistance and victory inherited from our martyrs by Comrade Masîro, who joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle at a young age and became an exemplary commander by making great progress, will definitely be crowned with victory by our comrades who remained behind.

ROJHAT KURTAY
Our city of Wan has been one of the pioneering resistance centers where our freedom struggle became massive and turned into serhildans. Our people of Wan, uniting with the freedom guerrilla, never bowed to the attacks of the invaders and did not hesitate to pay the price when necessary. The reality of the resisting people created by Leader Apo has turned into a tradition and has attracted thousands of Kurdish youth to the ranks of the struggle. The reality of martyrs, which is the essence of the PKK, created by our immortal heroes, who dedicate their whole being to the struggle for the victory of our freedom march and march to martyrdom when necessary without hesitation, has been the guarantee of the continuity of our struggle. Every martyrdom experienced in the PKK has become the reason for the expansion of our resistance, and the legacy of our martyred comrades has been taken over by their successors.
Our comrade Rojhat, who was born in Wan and grew up in an environment devoted to the tradition of struggle, took over the resistance flag and struggle of our relative Bahtiyar Cîlo (Mehmet Şirin Gül), who died in 2008, and has followed the honorable march of our martyrs. Our comrade Rojhat, who started to recognize our struggle from an early age and grew up in the serhildan culture in Wan, never accepted the life without identity and personality imposed by the system. Our comrade Rojhat has always been in search of more struggle, and has had great anger against the colonialist Turkish state, which wants to commit genocide against our people by carrying out a policy of denial and annihilation. Our comrade Rojhat, who was forcibly recruited by the fascist Turkish state, got to know the true face of the invading state and its army.

With the level of determination he reached, our comrade Rojhat turned towards the free mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015. Our comrade, who became competent with the military and ideological training he received, achieved a strong participation by integrating with the guerrilla life. He fought against the invaders in Maxmur and Kirkuk in the face of the genocidal attacks carried out by ISIS gangs and played a great role in saving our people from genocide. Our comrade Rojhat, who fulfilled his duty with great success, then returned to the free mountains of Kurdistan. Our comrade Rojhat, who moved to the Zap area where a historical war was waged against the invaders, led his comrades by putting his war and life experience into practice. With his energetic personality, he embraces all tasks with great enthusiasm, regardless of big or small, The revolution is based on successfully completing its missions. Our people, who have been refugees in the holy land of Kurdistan, where they have lived for millennia, and wanted to be separated from each other spiritually and physically through artificial borders, have been subjected to all kinds of inhuman attacks by colonial states. In the lands where the first wheat was planted, the first bread was jointly produced and shared, the people of ancient Kurdistan were plunged into poverty and were left in need of a bite of bread. The PKK is a movement for the resurrection and existence of a people whose hope for the future has been exhausted and whose humane life opportunities have been destroyed. Our party, the PKK, has re-created our people, which the imperialist states have put in the grip of denial and destruction by dividing them into four parts with artificial borders, with the spirit of national unity. With the emergence of our Party PKK under the leadership of Leader Apo, our oppressed people, By shaking off the dead soil on it, it crossed the artificial borders and flocked to the ranks of the struggle. Our comrade Kawa was born in Kotol in Xoy, where peoples lived together throughout history and different languages were spoken. Throughout history, Kotol has adhered to the social values of our people and is known for its strong patriotic qualities. Raised in an environment where Kurdistani values are alive, our comrade Kawa grew up with the culture and tradition of our people’s unyielding resistance.
The patriotic Musalo family has experienced the rightful pride of having added their most precious son to the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and has always displayed an honorable stance and embraced our holy martyrs. Comrade Kawa, who closely follows the processes of Rojava, Shengal and the Self-Government Resistance, has seen concretely the fact that our people cannot achieve their absolute freedom by preserving their existence without developing a strong self-defense. Seeing that the PKK line, which is the hope of freedom of our people and created by Leader Apo with a lot of effort, will bring a free future to our people, it has reached the determination to walk on the path of truth.
Living and practicing the spirit of national unity, our comrade Kawa joined the guerrilla ranks in March, when our relative Raman Evrim (Behmen Tenha), a relative of our comrade Raman Evrim (Behmen Tenha), who fought heroically against the invaders and protected the honor of our people during the historical Self-Government Resistance, joined the guerrilla ranks and raised the weapon of our martyr. With his answer to the invaders, our comrade Kawa clearly demonstrated how the legacy of all the martyrs of the freedom struggle in the person of Martyr Raman should be embraced by the Kurdish youth. Our comrade moved to the Heftanîn field after the first trainings he received and in a short time he became the owner of a strong practice by integrating in the field. He has attracted the attention of his comrades with his lively and agile participation, and has always strived to be on the front line in the epic war we waged against the invaders. Our comrade Kawa, who took part in many actions against the invaders in Heftanîn, caught the spirit of the period by becoming an expert in guerrilla tactics in a short time. Our comrade, who made the experiences he gained the basis for more participation, had a great insistence to carry out guerrilla activities in Bakurê Kurdistan. Our comrade Kawa, whose proposal was accepted as a result of his intense insistence, moved to the Wan area with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Adapting to the most difficult conditions with his war and life experience, our comrade Kawa has turned into a pioneer militant in a short time. With his brave and activist personality, he helped the enemy inflict heavy blows, and was one of our comrades who reflected the new era tactics of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla into their practice. ROSÎDA DİCLE
Our city of Colemêrg, where the patriotic tradition and culture of resistance are always alive, has always stood by the freedom struggle of our people and has taken a clear stance against the occupation and the invaders. The patriotic Colemêrg, who could not break the revolutionary will of our people, wanted to break the resistance by forcibly emigrating our people from the lands where they were rooted, as well as the attacks of denial and annihilation. Despite all the attacks, our people, who turned every area they went into a center of resistance, showed the whole world that they would never abandon the freedom march that developed under the leadership of the PKK and their loyalty to Leader Apo, with the serhildans and mass participation they developed. Our comrade Rosîda is a patriot who had to immigrate from Colemêrg to Wan, who adhered to this resistance culture and tradition,
Our comrade Rosîda was brought up in accordance with the Kurdistani values of the society she lived in and has been known for her fighting personality since her childhood. She closely witnessed the heavy genocidal policies and attacks developed against our people and had unlimited anger against the invaders. As a young Kurdish woman, she has seen concretely the reality that the system has made women into slavery by nihilating them, and that she has detached herself from her essence by making her without identity and personality. Our comrade, who started to get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle better in the same period, was influenced by Leader Apo’s idea of women’s freedom and tried to learn more. As she got to know Leader Apo and the PKK, she brought to consciousness the fact that real freedom can be achieved with a society to be established under the leadership of a free woman identity. The martyrdom of his close circle in the ranks of the freedom struggle deeply affected our comrade and led him to embrace the struggle of our martyrs. As a young and honorable Kurdish woman who is the successor of Zîlan and Berîtans, our comrade, who has reached the determination to fight for a free future for our society, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014 and met the free mountains of Kurdistan.
