BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center statement is as follows:
“As a result of the actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which dealt heavy blows to the invading Turkish army by fighting bravely, under the leadership of mobile teams; 3 invaders were punished, 1 Skorsky type helicopter was hit. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Zones 6 times with explosives, tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 22 times with attack helicopters, 3 times with warplanes, and dozens of times with howitzers and mortars. The invading Turkish army tried to destroy the battle positions in the Werxelê and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Areas with bulldozers.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On September 1, at 22:10, our mobile teams targeted the Skorsky type helicopters that wanted to land in the Saca area with heavy weapons from both arms. 1 helicopter, which was hit by effective hits, had to leave the area.
- On September 1, at 16:00, a group of invaders who wanted to take action in the Karker Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished. At 18:00, the occupiers were again targeted and shot and 2 more occupants were punished.
- These actions were carried out in memory of our comrades Doğan Jîrkî, Karker Özgür and Rojda Kotol, the valiant commanders of our people, who fought selflessly and joined the caravan of the undead by our forces, who displayed a historical resistance in the Zap.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- At 10:10 on September 1, the invaders who wanted to bombard the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons were hit twice with sabotage tactics.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On September 1, the battle positions in Girê Cûdî and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Zones were bombed 6 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons. It has been observed that the chemical gas used in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area emits gray and black fumes, and when the chemical that emits black smoke comes into contact with the soil, it reacts and turns into particles.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 1 and 2 September, drone activity was observed in Qela Çemço and Girê Amediyê, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas.
- On 1 September, the Qela Çemço area was bombed 3 times by warplanes.
- On 1 September, Girê Amediye, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 22 times with attack helicopters.
- On September 1, Girê FM, Sîda, Qela Çemço and Şehîd Adil areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers and mortars.
- On September 1, at 07:45, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was bombed with heavy weapons.
- On September 1, the invading Turkish army tried to demolish the battle positions and tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara and Werxelê Resistance Areas with scoops and bulldozers.
- On September 1, the road construction activity carried out by the KDP forces in cooperation with the invading Turkish army in the Girê Amiye Resistance Area continues.”
