BEHDINAN – HPG, “The historical resistance developed by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against the invasion operation of the colonialist Turkish army continues uninterruptedly. As a result of the effective actions of our freedom guerrilla who fought fiercely; 20 invaders were punished, 4 invaders were injured and 1 position was destroyed.
The invading Turkish army’s Resistance Areas; It bombed 23 times with high-intensity tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 10 times with warplanes, and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
HPG Press Center shared the following information regarding the actions and the details of the attacks:
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign, in the Metîna region;
On September 7, after the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were taken under control by our forces, they were hit with a coordinated guerrilla action at 09:30. The invaders, who were shot with assassination tactics and individual weapons, dispersed over the land. There were intense clashes between the invaders on the land and our forces. It has been clarified that at least 5 invaders were punished as a result of the effective hits of our forces.
Our comrades Çayan and Şahin, the valiant militants of the Cenga Xabûrê Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign, who fought selflessly against the enemy and dealt heavy blows to the invaders during the conflicts, have been martyred.

Cayan Goran
Our comrade Çayan was born in a patriotic family in the Qelqelî district of Wan. Due to the patriotism of his family, he got to know our Party to a certain extent. It is aware that the struggle developed under the leadership of Leader Apo brings our people closer to freedom day by day. The anger he felt towards the enemy due to the patriotism of his family and environment grew even more after his mother passed away due to the discriminatory policies of the state against the Kurds. After seeing the enemy’s fascistic view of the Kurds more concretely after her mother’s death, she became involved in youth work with the patriotic consciousness she had acquired before. With the first stone he threw at the enemy during his youth studies, he destroyed the reality of the enemy in his brain and opened the door to a free life. Our comrade Çayan, who showed a successful practice in the works he took part in, In this process, he started to get to know the Leadership ideology closely. On this basis, he questioned his personality and tried to overcome the destructions created by the male-dominated system in his personality. The more he got to know the Leadership and our Party, the more he deepened himself and participated more actively in the work. Our comrade Çayan, who came to the fore with his successful practice during his youth work, also attracted the attention of the enemy and was unfortunately taken prisoner by the enemy. However, he succeeded in turning this captivity into an opportunity and deepened himself in the Apoist ideology by transforming the dungeon into a place of retreat and education. In discussions with his comrades in the dungeon, the Leadership brought the reality of martyrs and guerrilla to greater awareness and became determined to expand its struggle. On this basis, he embodied this determination by joining the guerrilla ranks in 2013.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, his curiosity about guerrilla and mountain life increased day by day and he tried to find answers to his questions. As he became integrated with the guerrilla and mountain life, he understood well the perception that the enemy wanted to create in the minds of our people regarding the guerrilla. With every free breath he took and every path he took, he expressed his admiration for the magnificence of the mountains and nature of Kurdistan, and became more and more attached to this free life. Especially in the processes he was in Avaşîn area, he had the privilege of living this feeling to the fullest. While our comrade Çayan became integrated with the guerrilla and mountain life on the one hand, he closely followed the enemy attacks on the other. To our people in Rojava and Shengal, especially with the help of ISIS gangs of the enemy, He was enraged at the attacks of our people against the freedom forces and the martyrdom that took place in these attacks. Our comrade Çayan, who wanted to turn his anger into revenge, went to Shengal on this basis and continued his struggle here. Our comrade Çayan, who had his first war practice in the Shengal area, became an exemplary militant with his courage in the war against gangs. By participating in many moves in the Shengal area, he played an important role in the expulsion of the gangs from Shengal and the revenge of our Êzidî people. Our esteemed commanders Agid Civyan, Dilşêr Herekol and Çeko Çatak had the honor of fighting together with comrades in Shengal and gained great experience from these comrades.
As Bakurê Kurdistan is the area where our struggle first developed, and because our Leadership and our pioneer martyrs have worked for years in this area, it has been an area where our comrade Çayan wanted to fight, like many of our comrades. He was very excited to go to Bakure Kurdistan and felt a great sense of relief as soon as he crossed the border. With the enthusiasm of being able to fight against the invading Turkish Republic, which committed the most brutal massacres against our people, it quickly turned to practice. By taking part in many actions against the enemy in the Besta and Wan regions, he dealt heavy blows to the genocidal enemy. Again, for many years, he had a great effort to organize our people and to stand with a united force against the enemy.
Comrade Çayan, who returned to the Medya Defense Zones after duly fulfilling his duties in Bakure Kurdistan, made an accounting of his work with the concentrations he experienced and learned important lessons from these works. Particularly within the framework of the guerrilla’s restructuring project and with the valuable efforts of our martyred comrades, it has turned to the field of Metina with a great claim for the successful implementation of the war tactics. Our comrade Çayan, who took on the task of unit commander in the field of Metîna, dealt heavy blows to the enemy by practicing the war tactics of the new era with rich actions against the attacks developed by the enemy. Especially in the Girê Hakkari area, it carried out many surprise actions with its mobile team style and made the enemy unable to leave the positions.
Falcon Bahoz
Kobanê; In the 21st century, it has become a city that teaches humanity to resist, fight for human dignity, fight against ISIS gangs at all costs, and win victory. It has been recognized by the whole world as it is a place where the Apoist movement first developed in Rojava, where the Rojava Freedom Revolution took off, and where it became known with the Kobanê Victory. In this sense, it has been engraved in the memory of humanity as a place where the most basic human values of the age are honorably defended.
Our comrade Şahin was born in Kobanê, which has such a great meaning and value. Thanks to the great patriotism of his family and Kobanê, he got to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle at an early age and grew up with a patriotic culture. He became a young man who had a working personality and made a living by working. The realization of the Rojava Freedom Revolution not only caused upheavals in the whole region, but also became the name of a new life for our comrade Şahin. In 2014, when ISIS reactionary attacked Kobanê, his family had relatives who joined this struggle and became martyrs. This situation deeply affected our comrade Şahin and he believed that he should take part in the revolutionary struggle and fight for the salvation of our country and all of our people.
Our party has been impressed as it recognizes the PKK’s struggle to embrace the democratic values of humanity, democratic socialism and the national values of the Kurdish people. The value given to human beings in the PKK environment and the life standards of a free person living in the PKK’s free life have been decisive in the participation of our comrade Şahin in the struggle. After joining, he gave importance to educating himself on the basis of Apoist ideology. As he saw the features of party education that add value, educate and glorify people, he gave much more value to education. On this basis, our comrade Şahin, who wholeheartedly participated in the guerrilla life, had an unwavering participation. He participated in a revolutionary attitude with great consistency between his heart feelings, his words in his language and his practice in life. To be always moral, to be a source of morale for all his comrades, his child-naive stance, being full of great joy of life stood out as its most distinctive features. He showed his effort to create great values in the socialist life of the PKK with his efforts and practices, and he never held back.
In addition to deepening in the PKK and gaining an important level of militancy, he also took great interest in military sciences. Within the framework of HPG’s restructuring, it too was locked in the victorious guerrilla and sought to develop and empower itself militarily. On this basis, he was involved in military training to become an expert guerrilla and specialized in the use of heavy weapons. Professional guerrillaism, which is the name of combining Apoist ideology and military expertise, has been its greatest ideal. He became the owner of a carefree participation in order to put this ideal into practice.
After important practical processes and trainings, our comrade Şahin, who moved to the Behdinan field, participated in the revolutionary movement in Metîna. Our comrade Şahin, who became professional with the experience he gained, tried to apply the mobile team war style, which was the most dominant tactic of the period. In this sense, he had an important practice and took part in actions in which effective blows were struck against the invaders. Our comrade Şahin, known for his comradeship, sincerity, belief in victory and anger towards the enemy, was loved and recognized among all his comrades. Again, while he was on duty in Metîna and while he was in an action process that punished the invading enemy for historical crimes against humanity, he heroically hit the enemy, fought valiantly, and was martyred.
Our comrades Çayan and Şahin, who successfully practiced the mobile guerrilla tactic by inflicting heavy blows on the enemy with the actions they developed against the occupation, became the leading commanders of the new era guerrilla. We extend our condolences to all patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the families of our esteemed comrades.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On September 9, at 08:45, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Avaşîn region;
- The road built for the purpose of occupation in the Girê Martyr Munzur area of Mamreşo was taken under control by our mobile teams. The occupying group of 29 people, who took action to ensure the safety of this road, was targeted with a coordinated guerrilla action by our forces at 06:30 on September 8th. First action arm; punished 4 invaders by shooting them at close range with individual weapons and hand grenades. Second arm of action; shot and punished 2 invaders with individual weapons and hand grenades. The third arm of action is; shot a group of invaders with individual weapons and grenades. While 2 invaders were punished here, 3 invaders were seriously injured. At the same time, the invaders in the land were hit with heavy weapons by our forces.
- This effective action, in which 8 invaders were punished and 3 were seriously injured, was carried out for the memory and revenge of our immortal comrades who were martyred in Girê Sor as a result of the cowardly attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state using chemical weapons.
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On September 9, at 08:00, 16:00 and 16:30, the invaders, who took action around the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area, were shot 3 times by our mobile teams with the assassination tactic. While 2 invaders were punished in these actions, 1 invader was injured.
- On September 9, the invaders in the Martyr Fedakar Resistance Area in Sîda were hit with heavy weapons.
- On September 10, at 08:10, the invaders who wanted to bombard the Martyr Bahoz battle positions in the Martyr Fedakar Resistance Area in Sîda with chemical weapons were hit with a sabotage tactic.
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Xakurke region;
- On September 9, at 11:20, the invaders in the Girê Martyr Axîn area of Xakurkê were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star moving teams. In this action, a position with 4 invaders was hit, while 4 invaders were punished, 1 position was destroyed.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with explosives, tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- On September 9, the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area and the Martyr Aryen battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed 4 times with high-intensity tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
- On September 9, the war positions in Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were bombed 10 times with explosives, tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
- On September 9 and 10, the Martyr Bahoz battle positions in the Martyr Fedakar Resistance Area were bombed 9 times with explosives, tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On September 9, drone activity was observed in the Martyr Adil, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas.
- On September 9, the Sîda Resistance Area was bombed 6 times by warplanes.
- On September 9, the Deriyê Hirçê and Kanîsarkê areas in Garê were bombed 4 times with warplanes.
- On September 9, Çemço, Sîda and Martyr Adil Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
- On September 9, the invading Turkish army tried to demolish the battle positions and tunnels in the Karker Resistance Area with scoops and crushers.”
