BEHDÎNAN – In the statement of the press center of the HPG on the resistance of the guerrillas of the freedom of Kurdistan against the invasion operation of the Turkish occupying state in the Medya defense areas and the attacks of the Turkish occupying soldiers it says:
“On the 40th anniversary of his martyrdom, we commemorate Comrade Doctor Mehmet Xayri Durmuş, one of the founders of the PKK, one of the creators of our dervish life, who taught us how to be a revolutionary in the right way, always presenting himself as his people committed and pioneered the July 14 Resistance. Comrade Xayri, one of the architects of the PKK’s style, who led the victory through the resistance, became the name for not jeopardizing the PKK’s organizational life and style under the most difficult conditions. As followers of Comrade Xayri, we promise that we will always refer to the fighting style he created,
As a result of the actions carried out by our Armed Forces in memory of Comrade Xayri Durmuş; were punished while 12 occupiers were punished, 4 occupiers injured and 1 drone hit. The resistance areas were bombed by the Turkish occupying army 22 times with combat aircraft, 20 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers. Above that, they set fire to the Şehid Bahoz War Tunnels with combustible materials and attacked with chemical gases.
The details of the actions performed and the attacks performed are as follows;
In the Zap region as part of the revolutionary Bazên Zagros offensive;
- At 10:55 on September 11, the occupiers who were trying to move towards the Şehid Aryen battle positions of Çemço were hit by our mobile teams with heavy weapons.
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre Şehid Savaş Maraş;
- On September 11 at 07:00 and 07:45 the invaders, who wanted to bombard the combat positions in the Girê Cûdî resistance area with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, were hit by our forces first with sabotage tactics and then with individual weapons and hand grenades. After the action, the occupiers had to take a step back.
- At 07:45 on September 11, the explosives prepared by the occupiers to bomb the combat positions in the Girê Amediyê resistance area were destroyed by our mobile teams.
- On September 11, the invaders trying to enter the Şehid Çekdar war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were brought under control by our forces. The occupiers, who were brought under control, were first ambushed at 10:00 and then hit with sabotage tactics. In this action, carried out simultaneously and in coordination with our forces in the war tunnels and our mobile teams, the occupiers were later hit with hand grenades, individual weapons and snipers. It was established that at least 10 occupiers were punished and 4 occupiers injured in these hits. It was found that one of the punished occupiers was of high rank and their names Savaş, Fatih, Gökhan, Serkan, Burak, Naci, Harun, Mert, Oğuz and Fuat are. In order to prevent the arms and materials of the punished occupiers from falling into the hands of our armed forces, the Turkish army bombarded the place where the soldiers were killed with warplanes and howitzers. A drone flying over the operational area was hit by our mobile teams. Later, 2 other Bestazers who took action and shot and were punished with sniper tactics. After the Turkish army bombed the scene with fighter jets and howitzers, they set fire to the place where the bodies of their own soldiers were with incendiary rockets from attack helicopters and burned the bodies of the soldiers. The area of action and the bodies of some of the punished occupiers are still under the control of our forces. In the actions those of 10:
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons;
- At 14:30 on September 11, the occupiers left combustible material in the Şehid Bahoz War Tunnels in the Şehid Fedakar Resistance Area and set it on fire. At the same time, the occupiers bombarded the war tunnels with chemical weapons. It was found that the chemical gases used, when in contact with water, take on a granular structure and stick to the walls.
- On September 1, the occupying Turkish army launched a full-scale operation in the villages of the Gever district of Colemêrg. This operation, which included the villages of Memkawa, Yekmala Jor, Yekmala Jêr and Meşkan, lasted until September 6.
The attacks of the occupying Turkish army;
- On September 11, Gire Bihar, Girê Cûdî and the Sîda resistance area were bombed 22 times by warplanes.
- On September 11, the resistance areas of Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Sîda were bombed dozens of times with howitzers.
- On September 11, the Turkish occupying army tried to destroy the battlefields and tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara resistance area with excavators and clearing tanks.
- On September 11, the Girê Cûdî resistance area was bombed 20 times by helicopter gunships.
- On September 11, drone activity was observed in Girê FM and Şehid Fedakar resistance areas.”
