BEHDÎNAN – Gerîla TV has released footage in which the guerrillas present the materials confiscated by the Turkish occupying soldiers during an influential action at the end of May in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area near Metîna.
The press center of the HPG announced the following:
“On May 29, at 5:30 p.m., the occupiers who wanted to advance to the Girê Şehid Zemanî war fronts, in the Girê Hakkarî resistance area, were influentially defeated by our forces. 11 occupiers were punished.
In this action, 2 occupiers were also injured. In this action, our armed forces walked over the bodies of 9 occupiers. It was made clear that high-ranking soldiers Yunus Eylik, Alî Taşkin (from Tûgaya Command in Sêrt), Mevlût Çetîn and Ahmed Akpinar were punished. From these soldiers, 1 MPT-66 and 2 magazines, 1 ammunition chain of a BKC and 470 balls of ammunition, 2 ammunition packs, 1 ammunition magazine, 1 B-7 missile, 10 meters of fuse, 1 detonator, 3 military bags, 1 thermal imager, 1 night vision device, 1 Vision device a day, 4 grenade launcher balls, 1 mobile phone, 1 head camera, 1 compass and 1 portable solar panel were confiscated. A large number of food and medicines were also confiscated.”
