The Turkish army, aiming to occupy the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions, during this time; Against the resistance of the HPG and YJA Star guerrillas, it used chemical weapons and tactical nuclear bombs dozens of times, along with all kinds of state-of-the-art weapons.

THE SOUND OF THE EXPLOSION IS HEARD FROM KILOMETERS AWAY
In the footage recorded from two different angles, the Turkish army first tries to detonate the war tunnel with a tactical nuclear bomb. While the sound of the violent explosion can be heard miles away, the soldiers of the invading army, who calculated that they destroyed and destroyed the war tunnel, control the entrance of the tunnel. Later, large numbers of Turkish soldiers place chemical weapons that produce poisonous gas in tunnels.

HPG: TURKISH STATE COMMITTED WAR CRIME IN 2004
The images of the Turkish army, which could not carry out its invasion plans in the face of the guerrilla resistance, using chemical weapons not only in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area, but also in many other points, were previously recorded with cameras by reporters and HPG guerrillas in the region.
HPG Press Center, on the other hand, drew attention to the war crimes committed by the Turkish state in its five-month war balance sheet published last week: “In particular, internationally prohibited bombs and chemical weapons were used, from poison gases to phosphorus bombs, from thermobaric bombs to tactical nuclear bombs, against war positions and tunnels. The Turkish state committed war crimes in 2004 in order to achieve its aims and these crimes have been documented by our forces.”
