RIMÊLAN – The revolutionary youth movement Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwanên Şoreşger, started today with the motto “LI DIJÎ DAGIRKERÎ Û ÎXANETÊ, WERIN CENGA AZADIYÊ”, (Against occupation and betrayal, join the freedom struggle) with the first self-defense conference in the Cizir region .
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwanên Şoreşger hold their first self-defense conference against the invading attacks in Rimelan today.
A youth self-defense conference was held today in the Cîzir region, attended by hundreds of youth and young women. After a minute’s silence in memory of the fallen of the current era and all fallen of the revolution, the conference began with a speech by Harun Baran, the former head of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger. Harun Baran drew attention to the importance of such a conference at a time of such intense invasion attacks, stating , “It is very important to hold this conference at such an intense time of war. The organizers of this conference were aware of the developing war process. That is why this conference is being held. ”
Harun Baran further explained in his speech: “The Turkish occupying army, with the support of NATO, continues to use tactical nuclear and chemical weapons against the freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan. The war being fought in the mountains of Kurdistan is unlike any other war. Neither in the First World War nor in the Second World War were chemical weapons used on such a massive scale. They are able to trample all the laws of war in the war against the guerrilla freedom of Kurdistan.
At the end of his speech, Harun Baran drew attention to the importance of self-defense and legitimate defense in the context of the revolutionary people’s war.
The conference will last two days.
