BEHDINAN – Eastern Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) Commander Şiyar Şevger made assessments to ANF on the occasion of Commander Simko Serhildan’s 11th martyrdom anniversary.
Simko Serhildan (Macit Kaviyan), one of the YRK commanders, was martyred on 3 September 2011 as a result of the Iranian state’s attack on Qandil. Stating that there was a resistance led by Simko Serhildan in the Iranian state’s attack on Qandil, YRK Commander Şiyar Şevger said, “Comrade Simko took care of Leader Apo after Leader Apo was captured in 1999 and became a commander with his struggle. Comrade Simko Kandil’ Heval Simko and I gave 21 martyrs in the battle of Kandil.
Heval Simko Serhildan was a brave commander who came out of the city of Banê. As YRK, we take heval Simko’s stance as an example. Heval Simko will always be a symbol for us with his command, ideas, stance and participation. We will always follow the line of Commander Simko Serhildan. We train ourselves on the tactics developed by our friend Simko in Rojhilat. We commemorate all our martyrs who were martyred in the Kandil War once again and bow respectfully before their memories. We repeat the promise of raising the struggle in the person of those comrades. The occupying states should know that we always draw strength from the martyrs, we will protect those martyrs and make their dreams come true,” he said.
THERE IS WAR IN FOUR PARTS OF KURDISTAN
YRK Commander Şiyar Şevger said that an uninterrupted war has been waged in the Medya Defense Zones since April and said, “The invading Turkish state is attacking with all its might to destroy the Kurdish people and the Freedom Movement. We salute the fighters and commemorate our fallen comrades with respect.
Let the invading state know that neither the Kurdish society nor the Apoist movement, which has been fighting for years, can be destroyed with its technology. The war continues not only in Zap, Avaşîn and Metina, but also in all four parts of Kurdistan. “The war is going on everywhere. The invading Turkish state has put all its means into action against the guerrilla, but despite this, it has not achieved the success it wanted,” he said.
OUR MOTHERS SHOULD BASIS ON HEVAL RÊZAN’S MOTHER’S STATUS
Reminding that the invading Turkish state attacked wherever there were free Kurds to cover up its defeat against the guerrilla, YRK Commander Şiyar Şevger continued: “Our forces in Rojhilat were attacked with a reconnaissance plane on August 22. In this attack, 2 of our comrades were martyred in the Asos region. I commemorate the fallen guerrillas Mervan Misto (Rêzan Baran) and Huseyin Rasûli Kizilbaş (Bawe Sur) with respect and gratitude. This attack shows how the Turkish army was defeated against the guerrillas.
Hevalê Rezan was from Afrin. He joined the YRK ranks from Afrin and took his place in the struggle. Heval Rêzan did not forget the invasion of Afrin, so she joined the guerrilla. Heval Rëzan, who improved himself militarily and ideologically, became one of the unforgettable guerrillas of Kurdistan. Our comrade Bawe Sur was persecuted by the enemy at an early age. Heval Bawe Sur, who joined the guerrilla ranks against the persecution of the Iranian occupation, is becoming more conscious of Rêber Apo’s ideology and is growing even more hostile towards the enemy.
At the same time, heval Rêzan Cawîd was murdered by the Turkish state in Rojava in August. Heval Rêzan Cawîd, a native of Mahabad, did not accept the oppression and persecution of the invading Iranian state, so he went to the mountains of Kurdistan and took his place in PJAK. Heval Rëzan became both a pioneer and a symbol in Rojhilat with her struggle, works and effort. That’s why heval Rêzan’s martyrdom weighed heavily on us. However, we do not disappear with the martyrdom of our friend Rêzan, our hatred and grudge against the occupation are increasing. We are getting stronger to avenge our comrades, and we will build greater success with the martyrdom of Rêzan’s friend.
We are honored by the stance of Heval Rêzan’s mother. Especially; The phrase “My head is as high as the Kandil Mountain” gave us great morale. That’s why all our mothers should take this stance as an example. Our people of Rojhilat must base on the words of heval Rêzan’s mother. As PJAK, we see the words of Rêzan Hevalin’s mother as a duty and we will increase our struggle on this basis.”
