BEHDÎNAN – Four YJA Star guerrillas spoke to the ANF news agency about the August 15 initiative, which was and is a milestone for the people of Kurdistan and is celebrated as the national Day of Resurrection.
The YJA Star Guerrilla Toprak Dîrok that the people of Kurdistan who have paid a heavy price deserve their freedom to the end and said: “We will expel the Turkish occupiers from the countries of Kurdistan with all our hate and anger for the person of Solins, Ceylans and thousands of murdered Kurdish children.”
The guerrillas YJA Star spoke to ANF about the August 15 initiative, which is a milestone for the people of Kurdistan and is also celebrated as the National Resurrection Day.
NO FORCE CAN STOP THIS SPIRIT
The guerrilla dr. Hêja Rênas said: “It has brought a new tactical and strategic turning point for the Kurdish people and the guerrillas. At that time, people had no more hope. With this revolutionary step, great courage was formed in the people of Botan. This courage and self-confidence was not limited to Botan, but spread to all of Kurdistan . Hêja Rênas also stated:“The Egîds who defeated the enemy today are the successors and fighters of Commander Egîd. The resistance in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna is the spirit of August 15th. As long as this spirit lasts, no power, no technology can stop us. For this reason, we will continue to increase our victory with the spirit of August 15.”
FLOW THE HEVAL EGÎDS FLAG
Recalling that the August 15 initiative created great morale among the people, YJA star guerrilla Roza Serhat said that this is indeed the day of rebirth of the Kurdish people. Roza Serhat, noting that it was a breakthrough that took revenge for years and wanted to be worthy of the tremendous resistance of those in the dungeon, continued, “That spirit lives on. The reality of resistance and war in the Medya Defense Zones is inspired by the prison resistance fighters and the spirit created by Egîd. As YJA Star fighters, we will fight until we raise the flag that Heval Egîd presented to us on the free mountains.”
IT WAS NOT JUST A MILITARY ACTION
YJA star guerrilla Doğa Botan said that the first bullet was fired by Commander Egîd for all oppressed and exploited peoples:“There was a colonial mentality that wanted to annihilate the Kurds and the oppressed people. It was not only a military action, but also an ideological action. This fire of freedom became an unquenchable torch when Mazlum Doğan passed the fire of freedom he had received from Kawa to Commander Egîd. This torch will not go out and will always burn the heart of fascism. The PKK continues to grow day by day. It is the spirit of freedom that is carried in the PKK and it is Rêber Apo who sees this spirit being created. As fighters of Rêber Apo and fighters of Commander Egîd, we will end this battle in victory.”
OUR PEOPLE DESERVE FREEDOM
YJA star guerrilla Toprak Dirok, recalling that the August 15 initiative was launched with the courage and strength of the prison resistance, said: “We owe it to these people and we have given thousands of dead to fill that debt to pay. Whatever happens, we will win this war against fascism with all our might to liberate the people. Our people deserve full freedom. Our people have paid a heavy price. We will expel the Turkish invading forces from the lands of Kurdistan with all our hate and anger, in the person of Solins, Ceylans and for the thousands of murdered Kurdish children.”
