NEWS CENTER – The words of Martyr Serhed Giravi, one of the heroic and self-defeating commanders of Avaşîn’s resistance area Mamreşo, to his comrades over the radio, referring to the Turkish occupation forces, “We were already looking for them, they came on their own feet,” have remained in our memories.
It hasn’t been long since you said it. But 50 years have passed since the war waged by the invading, fascist Turkish state against the PKK, which waged one of the dirtiest wars in history, hoping for help from chemicals. A country that has been sold cheaply for 50 years, a Turkish people whose bread has been stolen for exactly 50 years, and imperial interests that have made this ugly war more ugly every day for exactly 50 years.
The Kurds are a people whose language is Kurdish. The Kurds are a hospitable people who have opened their doors to thousands of civilizations with their hospitality and have grown multiculturalism in their bosom. The Kurds are a people who have never harmed their neighbors with their neolithic purity and sentimentality, and have a humane culture of life. The Kurds are a people who know everything that comes out of their mouth and whose essence is full of words. The Kurds are a people who want to live freely in their country called Kurdistan.
Kurds are brave, valiant and hospitable. The Kurds are a free-spirited people with a high philosophy of life with high mountains called Zagros.
It is a rebellious people whose heads are as high as mountain peaks, resembling the mountains in which they grew up, so as not to hesitate to revolt against anyone who sets their sights on the freedom of the Kurds. The Kurds are an honorable people who go to the mountains to protect their freedom and consider all life options other than free life as dishonorable. The Kurds are a mountain people who have felt freedom on mountain peaks and love heights.
The mountains of freedom rebel Kurds are now under Turkish invasion. And the warrior valiants of this mountain people are in a relentless fight with their enemies on the peaks of their mountains to stop this invasion. The Kurdish mountains have never been a place for the sovereigns in history and they have never given them a pass. Because these mountains have been home to the bouncers at every stage of history.
Today, those who protect the mountains of Kurdistan at the price of their lives are the bodyguards of history. They are the freedom fighters who emerged when the time came and defeated darkness, oppression and slavery.
Now they are in the battlefield again.
Those who came to invade the Kurdish mountains again found the bodyguards of these mountains. History repeated itself once again. Just as the invaders for thousands of years, whenever they dared to attack these mountains, they lost their minds in the face of the majesty of the mountains and their brave warriors, the same is happening today. Otherwise, how can it be explained that a state bombs its own soldiers or throws their bodies off cliffs?
The end of the Turkish invaders is similar to the others. They run away just as the others ran away in fear and madness.
And this war is such a war that it will never be forgotten. The vengeance of the bouncers is heavy. History repeats itself once again. Soon, the whole Middle East, from Nineveh to Shengal, will be freed from thousands of years of darkness with the sun rising from these mountains. History will never forget this war. Because bouncers always win.
