BEHDINAN – The invasion attacks launched by the Turkish army against the Medya Defense Areas, the base area of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, have been continuing since April 14, 2022. The invading army, helpless in the face of the resistance of the HPG and YJA Star guerrillas, resorts to all kinds of chemical weapons and tactical nuclear bombs, as well as all kinds of heavy and technological weapons.
Lastly, footage showing that the invading army was preparing tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons against the Martyr Hêjar war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was recorded with cameras recently. In the images published by ANF on August 20, 2022; It was seen that Turkish soldiers were carrying tactical nuclear bombs, which were connected to each other with cables, towards the entrance of the tunnels with great precision.
Now, the moment of the explosion of the tactical nuclear bomb used by the invading army against the Girê Martyr Zemanî battle positions, which is also in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area, has been reflected on the cameras. Although it was shot at a distance of about 5 kilometers, it is seen that the camera in the recording shakes with the effect of the bomb.
BEFORE THE EXPLOSION, THE INVASIVE ARMY WITHDRAWAL
While the soldiers of the invading army in the region before the explosion retreated, high pressure emerged in an area of kilometers wide with the effect of the explosive. The invading army, which wants to destroy the war position with a nuclear bomb as a last resort in the face of the resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, detonates the nuclear bomb at the entrance of the war tunnel, ignoring international laws.
Taking advantage of the silence of the world public opinion, the Turkish army has started to use tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons frequently in recent months. According to HPG’s statements and the information provided by reporters in the region, the Turkish army has used more than 1600 banned chemical weapons since April 14, 2022. Especially the resistance positions in Werxelê, Şikefta Birîndara, Çiyayê Reş, Kurojahro, Çemço, Saca, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Hekkarî û Girê Amediyê are bombarded with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons almost every day.
TACTICAL NUCLEAR BOMBS ARE NATO’S WORK
“Strategic nuclear weapons” usually refers to nuclear weapons that can be launched at a high or intercontinental range, while those designed for shorter range use are called “tactical nuclear weapons” or “tactical nuclear bombs”. Although these weapons, which have an effect diameter of 1 to 3 km, are produced in the field for brigade-sized units in NATO member armies and are under the influence of a kind of mini atomic bomb, are called tactics, they are often used for strategic purposes.
There are many “tactical nuclear weapons” produced in the form of short-range missiles, artillery shells and land mines in the inventory of NATO member countries, especially the USA. Since the smallest “tactical nuclear bomb” is under the influence of tens of tons of TNT, the Turkish army uses them to destroy tunnels, caves and crossing points in the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla’s base areas.
TURKISH GENERAL ADMIT THEIR USE IN STATE TELEVISION – WATCH HERE
Retired Turkish army pilot, Lieutenant General Erdoğan Karakuş, admitted that tactical nuclear weapons were used by the Turkish state in a TV program he participated in last March: “Tactical nuclear weapons do not add to the number of these (meaning atomic bombs). Tactical nuclear weapons were also present in our land forces. Thrown by artillery units. You set the destruction, low destruction. So 20 kilotons dropped on Japan, those are half kilotons.”
