BEHDÎNAN – The occupying Turkish state and its partner, the KDP, have been attacking the Medya defense zones since April 14. They want to exterminate the entire Kurdish people and the oppressed peoples and first attack the guerrillas of freedom Kurdistan. For this reason, the Turkish occupying state, with the support of NATO, uses all cruel methods against the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan, from chemical gases to tactical nuclear bombs and phosphorus. However, these invasion attacks cannot go unanswered, the more the invaders attack, the more the guerrillas fight and give adequate responses to these attacks, the more young men and women join the ranks of the guerrillas.
For this reason, the Komalên Ciwan called for mobilization against these occupation attacks. The mobilization was called “Against occupation and treason, join the fight for freedom”. That is why the youth of Kurdistan is responding to the calls to mobilize the Komalên Ciwan and is joining the ranks of the PKK.
The thirteen youths who have joined the ranks of the guerrillas from north-eastern Syria have issued a public statement on their joining. In their statement, the young people drew attention to the fact that the occupying Turkish state was constantly attacking the areas and they called on the young people to respond to these attacks and join the ranks of the guerrillas.
The young people who have decided to join are of Arab and Kurdish origin and call on all young people to finally break the difficult isolation against the leader of the peoples, Abdullah Öcalan, and to enable a free Kurdistan. In contrast, everyone should feel responsible and take part in the freedom struggle.
The statement from the youth reads as follows:
“The process we are going through is a sensitive process for all oppressed and freedom-loving people. Through the situation and problems experienced by the capitalist modern system, they increase the pressure on the freedom-loving people to get out of these crises.
Putting pressure on the peoples and freedom movements, especially the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which opposes the massacres of the fascist Turkish state, the massacres of all oppressed peoples, especially the Yazidi community, who want to break their will, the guerrillas have become the Hope. That is why the occupiers continue their attacks without interruption.
Since the development of the July 19 revolution, their attacks on the region and the desire to defeat the will of the region built on the democratic system based on the thoughts and philosophy of Rêber Apo and the Fedai line have increased , not picked up.
Fascist Turkey wants to break the will of the people by making the isolation of Reber Apo more difficult, by attacking the Medya defense zones, by starting cooperation with the KDP. At the same time, they want to annihilate the guerrillas through the ways of the Turkish secret service MIT, with violations of ethical rights, such as the use of chemical and nuclear weapons used against the guerrillas. But the guerrillas are showing the way to the attacks of the Turkish occupiers with a historical resistance and the Turkish state has taken heavy blows at the hands of the guerrillas. The state, which wants to revive itself with the hope of Ottomania, was destroyed in the face of the guerrillas. With their resistance, the guerrillas have set limits for the Turkish state.
We as youth from north-east Syria, as Kurds and Arabs, give our promise of joining the guerrillas to take revenge for Şehid Jiyan and all Şehids of Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna, revenge for the massacres carried out by the occupying Turkish state . We will strengthen the existing resistance and struggle even more.
Just as the resistance in the prisons was victorious and the July 19 revolution was developed, our connection to the mountains of Kurdistan will also break the difficult isolation from Rêber Apo. We will destroy the plans of fascist Turkey, build a liberated Kurdistan and a liberated Middle East.
