RENNES – In the city of Rennes, France, under the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ), Kurdistanis came together and organized a march to protest the use of chemical weapons by the occupying Turkish state in the guerilla areas. The young people wore white clothes and distributed leaflets in the march held in the Republic square to draw attention to the use of chemical weapons and poisonous gases.
In the statement, it was said: “The invasion attacks that the Turkish state launched in cooperation with the KDP on April 14 in every region of Avaşin and Zap, continue with the use of chemical weapons from the air and on the ground. The Turkish state, which cannot advance against the guerrillas, does not get results even with the use of technology. On top of this, chemical weapons and poisonous gases are accepted as a war crime in the international arena, and they are still being used in an excessive way with the silence of international institutions. Systematic attacks against the territory of Kurdistan with military operations are expanding every day.
Every Kurdistan must understand the guerilla struggle, take care of it and participate in it, and in this way encex can nullify these special war policies of the occupying Turkish state on Kurdistan.
Throughout the event, they chanted the slogans “Long live guerrilla resistance”, “Long live President Apo”, “PKK will win”, “We are all PKK” and “Kujer Erdogan”.
Chemical weapons capsule used in Girê Amiye documented
There are serious findings that the invading Turkish state used chemical weapons in an unprecedented way during the new invasion attacks launched on April 14. According to the quarterly balance sheet published by HPG on 15 July, the Turkish army used chemical weapons as well as tactical nuclear and thermobaric bombs as explosives at least 1198 times between 14 April and 14 July.
One day after the quarterly balance sheet, HPG Press Contact Center reported that chemical weapons and explosives were used 7 times on 15 July in its daily balance sheet. Guerrilla cameras revealed yet another document on chemical weapons. A guerrilla filming the chemical capsule at the Girê Martyr Pîrdoxan war positions in the Girê Amiye Resistance Area records that moment by saying “today is July 11, 2022″.
The same guerrilla said, “This visible box fell inside when the enemy, who wanted to advance towards the Girê Martyr Pîrdoxan battle positions, made explosions and used chemicals on July 10. There is no text on it. A dust came out of it” he says.
While the inscriptions on the capsule thrown into the war tunnels were erased due to burning, the guerrilla speaking to the camera draws attention to the fact that the substance inside the capsule ignited and burned, leaving a waste like coal dust. The guerrillas bombarded the Girê Martyr Pîrdoxan war tunnels with explosives 3 times and used chemicals 4 times between 05:30 and 07:00 on July 10. This is the box of the chemical used,” he concludes.
Also ANF news agency has released guerrilla footage showing three occupying Turkish soldiers laying a hose to pump chemical gas into the guerrilla tunnels in Werxelê on 16 of July.
The Turkish occupying army, which has been attacking the guerrillas of the freedom of Kurdistan since April 14th, mainly in Zap, Metina and Avaşîn, as part of an annihilation operation, is using all kinds of chemical weapons. The occupiers, who were unable to enter the war tunnels due to the resistance of the HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas, only use chemical weapons and chemical gas rockets and bombs.
The fascist AKP-MHP regime, ignoring the rules of international war and gaining international support in crimes against humanity to crush the guerrillas of Kurdistan freedom, is taking advantage of the public’s willed silence regarding the war crimes they are supporting implemented by NATO. Once again, Turkish occupying forces were observed by guerrillas in the region pumping gas into guerrilla tunnels. In the new footage, captured under difficult conditions, soldiers of the invading army can be seen preparing to use chemical weapons in the Werxelê War Tunnels.
While some occupying soldiers throw their bags near the doors and windows of the guerrilla resistance tunnels, another occupying soldier, holding a compressed air hose, walks to where the bags were dropped. The other occupying soldier behind him follows him with a large compressor he carries on his shoulder. Then the invading army soldiers who went behind a rock prepare the materials in and extend the hose down.
The Turkish occupying soldiers lay the hose to fill the guerrillas’ positions and tunnels with chemical weapons. These pictures that were taken are the most tangible document of the invading Turkish army’s preparations for a brutal massacre.
